Notice on allowing extra time to the visually impaired category candidates appearing in the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2014
In compliance with the directions of the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi in W.P. (C) 3919/2014-Sambhavana versus Union of India and other dated 19 August2014, all the visually impaired category candidates appearing in Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2014 to be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on 24 August 2014 (Sunday), will be allowed an extra time of 20 minutes per hour for both Paper - I and Paper - II of this examination. Thus the visually impaired category candidates will be allowed an extra time of 40 minutes for Paper-I and an extra time of 40 minutes for Paper-II of Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2014 which will be over and above the duration of 2 hours per paper applicable to all other candidates.
