• WBJEE – West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination
• BCECE – Entrance Examination for admissions into medical, engineering and pharmacy course in the in the State of Bihar
• MP–PET – Entrance Examination for admissions into medical, engineering and pharmacy course in the state of Madhya Pradesh (M.P.) This examination is administered by Professional Examination Board (PEB) / Vyavsayik Pariksha Mandal (VYAPAM) Bhopal.
•  CG–PET – Entrance Examination for admissions into Engineering Under Graduate Course in the state of Chhattisgarh (CG).
•  CG–PMT – Entrance Examination for admissions into Medical Course in the state of Chhattisgarh (CG).
• RPET – Test for admissions into engineering colleges (Mostly government sponsored and some affiliated private) in Rajasthan.
• RPET- Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test
•  RPMT – Rajasthan Pre Medical Test
• GUJCET – Gujarat Common Entrance Test for admissions into medical, engineering and pharmacy course in the state.
• GCET – Admission Test for MCA and MBA programs in the state of Gujarat.
• PAT – Test for admissions into Masters in Urban Planning programs at BCHS, APIED V.V. Nagar.
• EAMCET – Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test
• CEE  Assam – Entrance Examination for admissions into engineering and medical colleges.
•  CEE Delhi  – For admission into Delhi Technological University(DTU, formerly Delhi College of Engineering – DCE) and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT).
• Although from 2010, the CEE has been cancelled and instead both of the above listed institutes will conduct counselling and admissions via the score in AIEEE exam.

• COMEDK - conducted by the Consortium of medical and engineering colleges of Karnataka – for admission into private engineering and medical colleges.
• KEAM - Kerala Engineering and Medical Entrance Maharashtra
• MHT–CET - Maharashtra Health sciences & Technical– Common Entrance test – Test for admission into medical and engineering schools.
