National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is taken by school leaving students for admission into Architecture and Design Programme offered by colleges / universities / other academic institutions for Under Graduate (UG) studies. Who administers NATA?

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is administered by Council of Architecture (CoA), governing body for architecture and design education and professional practices throughout India. Council has office in New Delhi.

What is the eligibility criterion for appearing in NATA?

Age: 17 years on 31st March in the year in which a student is willing to write the test,
Educational Qualification: (a) 10+2 or equivalent passed/appearing with Mathematics as one of the subjects of examination;
(b) 10+3 Diploma (any stream) passed/appearing recognized by Central/State Govts with Mathematics as one of the subjects of examination;
(c) International Baccalaureate Diploma passed/appearing, after 10 years of Schooling with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.

Part-A (FIRST 90 minutes) - TOTAL 120 Marks
Mathematics (MCQ) - 20X2 = 40 Marks (OMR BASED)
General Aptitude (MCQ ) - 40X2 = 80 Marks (OMR BASED)
Part-B (LAST 90 minutes) - TOTAL 80 Marks
Drawings (TWO SETS) in A4 Size paper 2X 40 = 80 Marks
