Combined Medical Services Examination, 2011

Eligibility Criteria

(a) Age Limits
Must not have attained the age of 32 years on 15th January, 2011. The upper age limit is reiaxable for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/ Other Backward Classes / Physically Handicapped and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice.

(b) Educational Qualifications
A candidate must have passed the written and practical parts of final M.B.B.S, Examination.

Application Procedure

(a) Candidates may apply Online by using the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in Detailed instructions for filling up online applications are available on the above mentioned Website.

(b) Candidates may also apply offline in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examinations, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices / Post Offices (specified in Appendix—lll of the Notice published in the Employment News dated 11.09.2010) throughout the country against cash payment of Rs.20/- (Rupees Twenty only). Each such Form can be used only once and only for one examination.

In case of any difficulty in obtaining Application Forms from the designated HPOs/POs, the candidates should immediately contact the concerned Post Master or UPSC's “FORMS SUPPLY MONITORING CELL" over Telephone No.011-23389366/ Fax No.011-23387310.

FEE :
(a) Candidates applying Online are required to pay a reduced fee of Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty only) either by remitting the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI or by using Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit Card.

(b) Candidates applying Offline (through Common Application Form) are required to pay a fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only.

(c) All Female candidates/SC/ ST/ Physically Handicapped candidates are exempted from payment of Fee. (OBC candidates are required to pay full fee).

(b) Common Application Form

All offline applications must reach the “Controller of Examinations, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi - 110069” either by hand or by Post / Speed Post or by Courier, on or before the 11th October, 2010.

However, in respect of candidates residing abroad or in certain remote areas specified in the Notice, the last date for receipt of applications by Post/Speed Post only (not by Hand or by Courier) is 18th October, 2010.

DOEACC Society

DOEACC announces schedule for sale & submission of Examination Application Forms for 41st Theory Examinations in respect of O, A, B, C Levels to be held in January 2011

Eligibility Criteria

The Examination Form is applicable for both, theory as well as Practical Examination. Practical Examination Fee is Rs. 300/- for each Practical.

For 'O' Level - Practical Examination (PR) is applicable for those candidates who have applied or passed in all modules i.e. M1-R3 to M4-R3 or M1-R4 to M4-R4. In some cases, however, candidates who have cleared some of the modules as per 3rd revised syllabus and would now opt for 4th revised syllabus, would also be eligible to undertake the Practical examination in case they have appeared/ cleared four modules, taking into account the subjects of both the 3rd revised syllabus and the 4th revised syllabus. However the Practical examination based on the 4th revised syllabus would be applicable for all such cases.

For 'A' Level - Practical Examination-I (PR-I) is applicable for those candidates who have applied or passed A1-R3 to A4-R3 / A1-R4 to A4-R4. Practical Examination-ll (PR-ll) is applicable for those candidates who have applied or passed A5-R3 to A10-R3/A5-R4 to A10—R4.

For 'B' Level - There are 4 Practical in the 'B' Level Examination. Practical Examination -l (PR-I) is applicable for those candidates who have applied or passed B1.1-R3 to B1.4-R3 / B1.1-R4 to B1.4-R4. Practical Examination-ll (PR-ll) is applicable for those candidates who have applied or passed B1.5-R3 to B2.5-R3 / B1.5-R4 to B2.5-R4. Practical Examination-lll (PR-lll) is applicable for those candidates who have applied or passed B3.3-R3 to B3.5-R3. Practical Examination-lV (PR-IV) is applicable for those candidates who have applied or passed B4.3-R3 to B4.5-R3.

Application Procedure

Application Forms: Examination Application Forms for any Level (O, A, B & C) can be obtained on written request by candidates from DOEACC SOCIETY New Delhi, by sending Rs.25/- per Examination Application Form through a Demand Draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of "DOEACC SOCIETY" payable at New Delhi. The request should be addressed to DOEACC SOCIETY and should clearly specify the level for which the Examination Form is required and complete address of the candidate. The envelope be superscribed as "Request for Examination Forms".

Examination Application Forms can be collected in person against DD drawn on any Nationalised Bank for the appropriate amount in favour of 'DOEACC SOCIETY' payable at NEW DELHI (Repeat payable at NEW DELHI only) from DOEACC Society's own Centres / Branches / Counselling Centres / Sale Counters outside Delhi the addresses of which are given in DOEACC website: http://www.doeacc.edu.in .

The forms can also be collected personally against cash payment at DOEACC's counter at Head Quarters.

Filled-in Examination Application Forms are received by hand or through Registered / Speed Post only at the Office of the DOEACC Society at Electronics Niketan, 6, CGO Complex, New Delhi - 110003.

DOEACC Society will not be responsible for any postal delay/loss in transit. The candidates should ensure that filled-in Examination Application Forms along with requisite fee and all other necessary documents reach the office of the DOEACC SOCIETY at Electronics Niketan, New Delhi before the closing date as specified.

Management Development Institute (MDI)

 Applications are invited for admission to the following programmes

Eligibility Criteria

PGPM/PGP-HR/PGP-IM: Minimum of 3-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities / AICTE. Candidates completing all requirements, for obtaining the Bachelor’s degree by 30 June 2010 can also apply subject to furnishing evidence to that effect latest by 1 October 2010.

NMP (EPGPM ): Minimum of 3-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities/ AICTE and minimum 5 years of post qualification executive (Class I or Officer Grade) work experience.

Admission Procedure: MDI uses CAT for short listing candidates for all the above programmes.

Candidate has to appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) to be conducted by the IIMs from 28 November to 7 December 2009. The last date for obtaining CAT Voucher is 1 October, 2009.

Foreign/NRI/PIO applicants can apply by submitting valid GMAT scores (taken not later than October 2009). NRI applicants residing in India during July -December 2009 will have to appear in CAT. GOI Rules will be followed related to admission of these categories of candidates.

Final selection process will consider performance in the CAT / GMAT and subsequent Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Candidate must apply separately for NMP (EPGPM).

IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.
