Post Graduate Diploma in Science Education 2011 In order to provide opportunities to teachers and others to obtain training and for carrying out science education projects, this Centre is offering a post graduate diploma programme in science education. Some of the aspects covered in the proposed programme would be courses related to subject content, laboratory experiments, research experience and experience in education technology. The training will be provided through projects and few formal courses. The programme will be for one year (for full-time students), at the end of which they will be given a post-graduate diploma in science education. The programme will take two years for teachers in service who do this on a part-time basis.
