Applications are invited for admission to Two Year Full Time MBA Program at Department of Management Studies, IIT Madras

Eligibility Criteria

The minimum academic qualifications to apply for admission to the MBA program at IIT Madras are as follows:

• B.E./B.Tech. (or equivalent) with First Class (or equivalent) from a recognized Institution or University

• A Masters degree with First Class (or equivalent) in any discipline from a recognized Institution or University.

• Final year students (of the above-mentioned program) are also eligible to apply.

Sponsored Candidates:

Candidates must have a minimum work experience of two years in the sponsoring organization. Applicants with a valid, good score in national level entrance tests such as CAT/XAT/MAT or equivalent would be preferred.

Non-Resident Indian and Foreign Nationals should have minimum qualification with good score in GMAT.

Eligibility Criteria

Information Bulletin and Application Form can be obtained by Post by submitting a Bank Draft for Rs.1000/- payable at Dehradun in favour of “Registrar, FRI (Deemed) University, P.O.I.P.E., Kaulagarh Road, Dehradun - 248195”.

Application form will also be available from the counter of The Union Bank of India (FRI branch, Dehradun).

A candidate who wants to apply two or more courses has to fill up separate form for each course.

Eligibility Criteria

QUALIFICATIONS - Passed Intermediate / 10+2 or equivalent examination in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology + Botany) taken together;

(i) For MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS – a minimum of 50% marks for General and 45% for General-PC candidates and 40% marks for OBC#/SC/ST and respective PC candidates;

(ii) For B.Pharm. – a minimum of 60% marks for General / OBC and respective PC candidates and 55% marks for SC/ST and respective PC candidates. Candidates appearing in qualifying examination may also apply.

AGE: Completed 17 years but not crossed 25 years as on 31st December, 2012 (Candidates born after 1st January, 1996 and on or before 31st December, 1987 need not apply).

Application form will be sent by Speed / Registered Post. However, Institute will not be responsible for any loss or postal delay.


The request for application form must include the name and address of the candidate, and full particulars of the enclosed DD/BC (write candidate’s name and address on the back of DD). Two self-addressed, preferably typed, white paper slips of 10 cm X 6 cm size must also accompany it.

The requisition for PMT Application Form should be super scribed “Request for Application Form for PMT-2012, BHU”. Last date of requisition for PMT form by post is 27.02.2012.

Application Forms from the Office of the Director (PMT-Cell), Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU, Varanasi-221005 can be obtained by POST only and not in person upto 27.02.2012.

National Law University, Jodhpur Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) – 2012

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an all India entrance examination conducted by 14 National Law Schools/ Universities for admissions to their under-graduate and post graduate degree programmes (LL.B & LL.M).

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Under-Graduate Programmes

To be eligible to appear in CLAT-2012, a candidate should have obtained a Senior Secondary School/ Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent qualification from a recognised Board with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC and PWD).

Candidates who have appeared in the 10+2 examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear in the test.

Age of candidate should not be more than 20 years in case of General/ OBC candidates (22 years in case of SC/ST and persons with Disability ) as on 1st July, 2012.

The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination at the time of his/her admission and be able to submit its proof.

Eligibility for Post-Graduate Programmes

To be eligible for appearing in CLAT-2012, a candidate should have obtained a LL.B/B.L. Degree or an equivalent degree from a recognised University with not less than 55% marks in aggregate (50% in case of SC/ST /OBC and persons with Disability).

Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying degree examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear in the test.

The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination at the time of his/her admission and be able to submit its proof.
