HE the Chancellor and Governor of UP, Shri BL Joshi will preside over the 1st Convocation of Mahamaya Technical University, Noida, which will be held on 20 September 2013 (Friday) in JSSATE Campus, C 20/1, Sector 62, Noida for the Graduates of MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.Pharm who have passed out in 2012 and 2013.

University of Jammu M.Ed Admission 2013 via Distance Mode

Online applications on prescribed format are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the M.Ed Programme through distance mode for the academic session 2013-14. Application Forms will be available on website www.distanceeducationju.ac.in from 29 August 2013 alongwith detailed information about the admission process. The candidates can also take assistance of the Khidmat Centres of the J&K Bank Ltd. (listed on the website) for completing the form on payment of prescribed fee.


Eligibility Criteria- Any person having a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed) from the University of Jammu or an examination passed from any other university recognized as equivalent thereto shall be eligible for admission to the M.Ed Programme.

Applicants are advised to fill in the Form ONLINE with correct particulars and take out the print out of the filled in form for the personal record for further use. Please check the exact amount of the application fee to be deposited in any of the branches of HDFC Bank or Khidmat Centres operated by the J&K Bank by taking the print out of the Challan generated in the process of filling up the admission form.

Common recruitment process for recruitment in clerical cadre in participating organizations (CWE Clerk - III)

The next Common Written Examination (CWE) as a pre-requisite for selection of personnel for clerical cadre posts in the participating organizations will be conducted online by the Institute of Banking Personnel Personnel Selection (IBPS) tentatively in November / December 2013.


Candidates intended to apply for CWE Clerks III should ensure that they fulfills the minimum eligibility criteria specified by IBPS on 1 August 2013

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has invited applications for Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme for Jammu and Kashmir 2013-14 in Engineering, Medicine and General Education Streams for 2013-14 till 10 August 2013.
While processing online applications it was observed that in some cases the data entered by candidates is incomplete of incorrect. The provisional merit list scheduled to be displayed on 16 August 2013 is therefore deferred to another date to be notified later.

All such candidates are informed to complete all fields in the online applications or give correct information in the online application on http://aicte-jk-scholarship.in using their username and password already provided from 20 August 2013 to 25 August 2013 till 00:00 hours.

Candidates failing to complete or correct the information in online database will not be included in the merit list and subsequently not be eligible for being considered for the Special Scholarship Scheme 2013-14

Eligible Fellowship: Rs 16000/- per month along with annual contingency as per the UGC Guidelines


Eligibility Criteria:


  1. MA/M.Sc in any subject with minimum 55% marks
  2. M.Ed or MA Education with B.Ed with minimum 55% marks
  3. Passed Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in education conducted by the UGC 
  4. Good academic record 50% throughout from +2


Duration of Ph.D Program- For MA, MSc and M.Ed degree holders is three years; and M.A/M.Sc and M.Ed & M.Phil in Education degree holders is two years.
