JEE Advanced 2013 (Paper 1 Versus Paper 2)

JEE Advances 2013 is the test similar in lines of Old IIT JEE. The difference this year is, in addition to basic eligibility criteria, only those candidates should be eligible to write who will found place in JEE Main 2013 among first 150000 candidates.

JEE Advanced 2013 is a two paper test - JEE Advanced Paper 1 and JEE Advanced Paper 2. Both papers will be multiple choice type consisting questions in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. So here basic question arises what should be difference between JEE Advanced Paper 1 and JEE Advanced Paper 2? After much thought i am trying here to distinguish between the two. If i was the test taker in place of you, probably i may have thought about two test somewhat like this.

JEE Advanced 2013 Paper 1 will be similar like JEE Main 2013 Paper 1. However level of questions may  be little high.
JEE Advanced 2013 Paper 1 may ask more direct questions.
JEE Advanced 2013 Paper 1 may be in similar lines as it was JEE Screening years back.
JEE Advanced Paper 1 probably be a high Scoring Paper.

JEE Advanced Paper 2 will be test of application and not only of knowing something.
JEE Advanced Paper 2 however objective type would require applications of knowledge and ideas to reach to a solution.
JEE Advanced paper 2 may include more indirect questions. The questions may come lengthy because of inclusion of more number of terms in a question.
Earlier JEE known to ask questions in such a manner that to a question candidates required to not only one topic but several related topics. JEE Advanced Paper 2 will be at similar difficulty level as it was old JEE when test was descriptive.
JEE Advanced 2013 Paper may not be a very high scoring paper.

JEE Advanced Paper 1 and JEE Advanced paper 2 both shall ask questions in physics, chemistry and mathematics of class 11th and 12th standard. You do not need to study beyond syllabus to answer the two tests indeed you  need to study precisely around syllabus prescribed by JEE Advanced 2013 authority.
