The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced Test is held for admission into Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) in the country. The candidates who qualify in the entrance examination and Centralized Counseling get a seat in one of the Undergraduate Courses i.e. Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree programs in an IIT.
The Minimum qualification to appear for this test is 10+2 with qualification in JEE Main 2018. This year JEE Advanced is scheduled on May 20, 2018.
To be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2018, candidates should be among the top 2,24,000 (including all categories) in Paper-1 of JEE (Main)-2018.
The JEE Advanced is a two paper examination, i.e JEE Advanced Paper 1 and JEE Advanced Paper 2. Both the papers are compulsory.
The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur also called IIT Kanpur is administering authority for JEE Advanced 2018.
