Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (GGV) was established in 16 June 1983 in Bilaspur, Madhya Pradesh. However, the state was divided later and now its in state of Chhattisgarh. The university acquires 655 acres of land area to facilitate study and research programmes. The GGV offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes through following academic divisions:
