Applications are invited for admission to MBA & MBA (Management Services) Programmes (Two Year Full Time beginning from July 2009)



Eligibility: 1. Candidates applying for admission to the first year of MBA & MBA (MS) (Full-Time) Programme must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelor’s Degree Programme after 12 years of formal schooling in any of the following disciplines. The minimum requisite percentage of marks in different disciplines is as follows :-

Arts, Commerce or Social Sciences - 50%
Sciences - 55%
Mathematics or Statistics - 60%
Medicine, Engineering or Technology - 60% / CGPA of at least 6.00 in a scale of 10.00 OR

Post Graduate Degree or 2nd Degree examination after 10+2+3 scheme, securing at least 60% marks.

Note : Candidates appearing for the final examination of Bachelor’s / Post Graduate Degree examinations may also apply.

2. Candidates must be 20 years of age as on 01.10.2009
Application procedure: The admission forms along with relevant information bulletin will be available from the designated branches of State Bank of India from 20.10.2008 to 01.12.2008 on cash payment of Rs 1000/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/PH category) for applying to both programmes and Rs. 500/- (Rs 125/- for SC/ST/PH category) for applying to only one programme. Applicants must enclose the bank counterfoil and reserved category certificate, if any, with the application.

Applications are invited for Three Year Part Time Programmes in MBA and MBA (Health Care Administration) beginning July, 2009



Eligibility: 1. For MBA (Part Time):

Every candidate seeking admission should have passed a bachelor’s degree examination of at least 3 years duration with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate. Relaxation on this criterion may be made for those who scored more than 55% marks in aggregate in their post graduate degree or at least 60% in a Diploma in Personnel Management, Diploma in Management, Diploma in Sales and Marketing or Diploma in Administrative Management of the Delhi University conducted by the Faculty prior to the implementation of this particular scheme.

Candidates should have at least three years experience as an executive or an administrator in a commercial, industrial or government establishment after passing the Bachelor’s Degree Examination.

Three years Full-Time experience shall be determined as on 1st August , 2009.

Candidates must be sponsored by his/her present employer

2. MBA - Health Care Administration (Part Time):

Every candidate seeking admission to the course shall have passed a Bachelors’ Degree Examination in Medicine of the University of Delhi or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto.

He/She should have at least five years’ experience in Hospital Administration after acquiring the Bachelors’ Degree in Medicine.

Five years’ experience shall be determined as on 1st , 2009.

Candidate must be sponsored by his/her present employer.


Application procedure: MBA (PT) Application Forms are available from branches of State Bank of India (Connaught Circus, Delhi University North Campus, Delhi University South Campus, IIT Delhi, Lajpat Nagar, Ring Road) on cash payment of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 125/- for SC/ST/OBC/PH/CW category). Applicants must enclose the bank counterfoil with the application.

Candidates may also apply online and pay. They must mail their sponsorship letter, category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/PH/CW), three copies of computer-generated Admit Card formats (with Photograph, Mailing Address and Signature) and requisite Application Fee Bank draft (if not paid online) to FMS before 15.12.2008

MBA (HCA) Application Forms are available only from Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Delhi 110 007 against a bank draft of Rs. 500/- (Rs.125/- for SC / ST/ OBC / PH / CW category) in favour of "The Registrar, University of Delhi".

Admission to the B.A.(Honours) Business Economics – 2008 – 09
Eligibility
a) General Category
The candidate must have passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (10+2) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi with pass in 4 subjects (English, Mathematics and two Elective Subjects) or an examination recognised as equivalent thereto, with 55% or more marks in the aggregate of these four subjects.
The four subjects considered are all from the academic stream. They are:
(1) English
(2) Mathematics or Business Mathematics
(3) and (4) Any two from among the following:
Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Commerce, Accountancy, Computer Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy and Biotechnology.

b) Reserved Categories
1) Candidate must produce certificate from the competent authority to claim benefits under this category.
2) Candidates belonging to SC / ST category shall be allowed 5% relaxation of the marks in the minimum eligibility requirements. A separate merit list will be drawn for these students for the purpose of (15 + 7.5)% reservation.
3) Candidates belonging to OBC category shall be provided 9% of the total seats and a separate merit list will be drawn for the purpose. Eligibility requirement will be the same as for general category candidates (as per Delhi University guidelines).
4) Children and/or widows of personnel of Armed/Paramilitary Forces killed/disabled in action during the wars from 1947-48 onwards or those who died while on duty, shall be allowed relaxation of 5% in the minimum eligibility requirements.
5) Candidates belonging to the physically handicapped categories shall be allowed 5% concession in the minimum eligibility condition for the test and separate merit list will be drawn for such students for the purpose of 3% reservation.
c) Foreign Students
Eligibility conditions for the foreign students will be the same as for the general category students.
d) Other Eligibility Requirements
1) The candidates who have appeared for the qualifying examination and whose results are not declared before the last date of receipt of application form are also eligible to apply for the admission test. Such candidates must enclose the self attested copy of the marks sheet of XII class with the answer sheet on the date of admission test. Their admission, however, will be
subject to fulfilling eligibility conditions.
2) Candidates who have appeared at the annual examinations of the qualifying examination and placed in the compartment will not be eligible for admission for the current year.
3) Candidates who have appeared at the annual examination of the qualifying examination and subsequently reappear for improvement to acquire eligibility will not be considered for admission for the current year. Rounding of fraction of a mark to determine eligibility is not permissible.

Issue of Bulletin of Information
Admission to B.A.(Hons.) Business Economics is centralized.

The Controller of Examinations/Deputy Controller of Examinations, University of Delhi, South Campus will conduct the admission test with the help of the Department of Business Economics.
The Bulletin of Information with the Application Form for admission test will be available from offices of the ten colleges running this course during working hours, on payment of Rs 400/- (Rs. 200/- for SC/ST and children of defense personnel, on production of certificate from competent authority); in cash/crossed bank draft in favour of the Director, UDSC [B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics] payable at the State Bank of India, Service Branch, New Delhi.
The Bulletin of Information along with the application form can also be obtained by post from any one of these ten places on remitting a crossed bank draft of Rs. 400/- payable at the above mentioned branch. A self addressed envelope of size (23 cm x 30 cm) with postage stamps of Rs. 50/- should also be enclosed with the request.
