Eligibility

For Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics:

(1) Only Candidates who have passed 12th Std/10+2 from outside Maharashtra with English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology/Mathematics or any other Examination recognized as equivalent thereto by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with minimum 50% marks in either Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together or Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics taken together. For Master in Science (Prosthetics & Orthotics)

Bachelors degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics from a Institute recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India with of compulsory six months Internship on or before 31st July, 2008.


Entrance Examination

For Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics:

The applicants are required to appear in an Interview with all their original certificates at Room No. 214 of this Institute at 9.30 am. on 14th July, 2008. Those who are selected will have to take admission on 15th July. 2008. failing which the next candidates on the waiting list will be given admission on 16th July, 2008.

Eligibility Criteria:

Maximum age limit is 21 years on 01.10.2008, (26 years for SC/ST).

(1) For B. Pharm: Pass in all subjects* in Class 10 with minimum 60% (50% for SC/ST). Pass in all subjects* in Class 12 / equivalent Qualifying Examination (QE) with English, Phys, Chem, and Math/Biology/Biotech, and minimum 60% (50% for SC/ST).

Further, candidates must have appeared in AIEEE-2008 or AIPMT MAIN - 2008. General category / OP candidates from AIEEE group must have AIR upto 1,00,000. All candidates who possess the AIPMT MAIN - 2008 rank card may apply.

Marks in Class 10 to be considered as sum of all subjects*, and in Class 12 for best 5 subjects including English, Phys, Chem, and Math/Biology/Biotech ('excluding optional subjects).

(2) For BHMCT: Pass in all subjects* in Class 10 and Class 12/QE in any stream, with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) in both Class 10 and Class 12. Marks in Class 10 to be considered as sum of all subjects*, and in Class 12 for best 5 subjects* ('excluding optional subjects).

Candidates appearing for Class 12/QE in 2008 can also apply. They must produce marksheet of QE at the time of Counseling, along with other documents.


Selection Procedure:

(1) For B. Pharm: Based on All India Rank in AIEEE -2008 or AIPMT MAIN - 2008 and subsequent Counseling at Mesra.

(2) For BHMCT: Entrance Test on 13 July 2008 at Kolkata, Mesra, Noida, and Patna, and subsequent Interviews at Mesra.

New Delhi, will be available for sale in the College office from Thursday, 12th June to Monday 30th June, 2008. on all working days (including Saturdays) between 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on cash payment of Rs. 500/- for General Category and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST category candidates or Crossed Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of the Principal, College of Art, New Delhi payable at New Delhi, or through Post along with a self-addressed envelop of 10" x 12" duly affixed with Rs. 100/- postage stamp.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

Bachelor of Fine Art Course:
(i) Senior School Certificate Examination (12 year Course) of the C.B.S.E., New Delhi or equivalent examination with 50% or more marks in the aggregate for applications of General Category.

(ii) 45% marks for applicants of SC/ST category, and general category candidates with Painting, Sculpture or Applied Art as one of the subjects in the qualifying examination, Widows and/or children of Armed Personnel/Para-Military Forces and Physically Handicapped Candidates.

Diploma in Fine Art Course (Deaf and Dumb students):

Deaf and Dumb students who have passed the Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class X) conducted by C.B.S.E. New Delhi, or an examination recognized as equivalent will be considered eligible for admission to this Course subject to their passing the Aptitude Test in practical subjects only.

The admission to this Course is given for three seats only, one in each of the three disciplines i.e. Painting, Sculpture and Applied Art, as per the modality of admission of Delhi University.

Master of Fine Art Course (M.F.A.):

A candidate seeking admission to the Course must have passed the Bachelor of Fine Art degree in the relevant Specialization of four year duration (after 10+2) offered by the Delhi University or an examination recognized equivalent thereto with 50% or more marks in the aggregate for applicants of general category and 45% for SC/ST category/Widows and/or children of Armed/Para-Miliatry Personnel, and Physically Handicapped.

Post Graduate Diploma in Fine Art Course (for Deaf & Dumb students only):

Deaf and Dumb students who have passed Diploma in Fine Art Course of 4 years duration of the University of Delhi or an Examination recognized as equivalent thereto will be considered eligible for admission to this Course subject to their qualifying the Assessment as detailed in the Prospectus and applicable to other candidates for admission to M.F.A. Courses.

The admission to this Course is given for three seats only, one each of the three disciplines i.e. Painting. Sculpture and Applied Art, as per the modality of admission of Delhi University.
