Admission to Vacant Seats in B.E. 2008 through Institutional Counselling at BIT Mesra, BIT Patna and BIT Deoghar

Few seats in the BE. programme, under state quota for various states, are vacant at BIT Mesra BIT Patna and BIT Deoghar after the first round of Central Counselling and admissions through Form 1 and Form 2. The vacant seats are to be filled through Institutional Counseling.

Selection for each State and category / sub-category will be strictly based on All India Rank in AIEEE 2008 from among those candidates who have been declared eligible for Central Counseling and also fulfill the other eligibility criteria of the Institute, including age and marks in Class 10 & Class 12.

Interested candidates should see notification on our website for details of vacancies, eligibility criteria, prescribed form, and how to apply. Candidates must submit separate application forms if they wish to apply for more than one Place of Study.

Eligible candidates must submit each completed application in prescribed form along with attested photocopies of all relevant certificates and documents and crossed Demand Draft for Rs 1,000 in favour of Birla Institute of Technology, payable at Ranchi / Patna / Deoghar, during working hours by 18 August 2008 at the Centre of their choice - Mesra / Patna / Deoghar only - or send same by courier / Speed post to reach Mesra / Patna / Deoghar by 18 August 2008.





Caste certificates must be in proper format and signed by appropriate authority of rank not less than SDO.

Merit list and provisional selection list will be notified on or before 23 August 2008 only on our website and Notice Boards at BIT Mesra, BIT Patna and BIT Deoghar. No separate intimations will be sent to candidates. Provisionally selected candidates will be required to take admission by 30 August 2008, failing which their provisional offers will be cancelled and given to the eligible candidates who are next in merit.

Applications are invited for admission to Post Graduate Programme in Human Rights (Two Years) through Distance Learning Correspondence Course - 2009 - 2011

Eligibility: Graduate of any discipline

Application procedure: Prospectus & Admission Forms are available on payment of Rs.50/- by Cash from the Institute’s counter or by sending MO/IPO/Bank Draft of Rs.50/- in the name of “Indian Institute of Human Rights”, payable at New Delhi along with complete postal address of the applicant.

Interested persons having Bachelor's Degree in any discipline or an equivalent qualification may fill in the Application Form and send the same by Registered Post along with four copies of photographs, one Photostat copy of all the relevant certificates and mark sheets of the different examinations passed and a bank draft of the first installment of fee, i.e. Rupees 4825 in the name of "Indian Institute of Human Rights" payable at New Delhi
