1. Eligibility: 10+2 Examination or equivalent with not less than 50% marks for General and 45% marks for SC/ST OBC and Persons with Disability.

(Students taking qualifying examination in March/April 2009 are also eligible to apply).

2. Age limit: Not more than 20 years in case of General and 22 years in case of SC / ST / 0BC and Persons with Disability as on 1st July, 2009.

Post-graduate Programme (EXCEPT FOR NLU, JODHPUR)

1. Eligibility: 55% marks in aggregate in LL.B. / B.L. (50% marks in case of SC / ST/ OBC and persons with disability

Application procedure:
i) Printed Application Forms along with the CLAT-2009 information Brochure will be available at the designated branches (refer www.clat.ac.in ) of the Indian Bank, State Bank of India, or in any of Law Schools mentioned below against payment of Rs .2500/- only (Rs.2000/- in case of SC/ST on proof) inclusive of test fee and bank charges.



ii) Request for Application form may be sent to the Convenor, CLAT-2009, NALSAR University of Law, 3-4-761 Barkatpura, Hyderabad—500 027, with a demand draft for Rs.2500/- (Rs. 2000/-in case of SC/ST) drawn in favour of the Convenor, CLAT-2009 (NALSAR) and payable at Hyderabad.

iii) Applications can also be downloaded from www.clat.ac.in .

iv) The duly filled in Application Form along with the DD and other enclosures should be sent to the Convenor, CLAT 2009 at the address mentioned.

Eligibility:
Age: Between 17 and 23 years as on 31st December 2009 (i.e., born during 01.01.1987 to 01.01.1993).

Educational Qualifications : Candidate must have passed and obtained not less than 50% marks in aggregate (for admission under General, UPS and OBC categories), or 40% marks in aggregate (for admissions under SC, ST and PH Categories) in 10+2 examination with PCM/PCB / PCH / PCMB/PCA subject combinations.

Candidate having compartment/ supplementary in any subject in 10+2 examination is not eligible for admission. Candidates appearing for 10+2 examination can also apply but shall produce 10+2 pass certificate during Counseling. Pass in English in 10+2 examination is essential for admission in some of the Universities.

Application procedure:

Through Bank Branches : From the branches of the Syndicate Bank, information Bulletin and Application Forms can be obtained from 21 January, 2009 to 07 March, 2009 against Cash payment of Rs. 400/- + Rs. 25/- (Service Charges) for General, OBC and UPS Categories and Rs. 200/- + Rs. 25/- (Service Charges) for S.C., S.T. and P.H. categories.

C. BY POST: Candidates from remote areas can obtain the the Information Bulletin with Application Form by sending written request to the Controller of Examination, Education Division, ICAR, KAB – II, Pausa, New Delhi – 110012 along with bank draft of Rs.450/- (Rs.400/- + Rs.50/- towards postal & handling charges) for General, OBC and UPS Categories and Rs.250/- (Rs.200/- + Rs.50/- towards postal & handling charges ) for SC, ST and PH Categories. The Demand draft must be drawn in favour of DDG (Education), ICAR payable at New Delhi with a self addressed envelope (30x25 cm) without postage stamps.

The candidate should write his/her name and address on the back of the demand draft. No request for supply of Information Bulletin by post will be accepted after 04th March 2009.

The last date for the receipt of filled Application Forms in the Office of the Controller of Exams, Education Division, ICAR, KAB-ll, Pusa, New Delhi-110012 is 10th March 2009. However for the candidates from remote areas viz. Mizoram, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division,of J&K,State, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, A&N Islands and Lakshadweep, the last date for receipt of filled Application Form is 17 March 2009. Applications received after the last date will be rejected.

ICAR shall not be held responsible for non-receipt of application within the time schedule due to postal delay or any other reason for delay. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. The Application Forms cannot be submitted online. It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to check his/her eligibility for admission before applying. ICAR will not be held responsible for refusing admission to any non-eligible candidate at the time of Counseling or later. All disputes relating to the conduct of this examination or any matter connected with this advertisement shall be dealt under the jurisdiction of DELHI COURT only.

Admission
Admissions to 15% of the seats in State Agricultural Universities, AAI-DU, Allahabad, CAU, Imphal, NDRI (100% seats) and Central Universities having Agriculture faculty namely BHU, Biswa Bharti, Nagaland University for Bachelor Degree Programmes (B.Sc./B.Tech./ B.F.Sc. etc.) in the subjects of Agriculture, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering, Dairy Technology, Forestry, Food Science, Fishery Sciences, Home Sciences, Sericulture, and Agri Marketing Banking & Co-operation, and Commercial Agriculture & Business Management.

Note
National Talent Scholarship (NTS) of Rs. 1,000/- per month is awarded to candidates selected through this examination and joining Agricultural University located outside their state of domicile.

Question Paper : There will be only one question paper consisting of objective type questions in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Agriculture) for "STREAM-A" and Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for "STREAM-B". The candidates may choose any Stream according to their eligibility and choice of the subjects.

The question paper will be in ENGLISH and HINDI.

Reservation : As per Govt. of India norms, 15% seats in all subjects will be reserved for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes (ST), 3% for Physically Handicapped (PH), and 2% for candidates from Under-Privileged States (UPS). Reservation for OBC in four Central Universities (NDRI, CAU, BHU and Viswa Bharti) will be as per Government of India directives / University rules.

University of Delhi

Courses offered: Admission to the Following Courses - 2009

• M.Sc. Operational Research (O.R.) – NORTH CAMPUS – (Two-year post graduate course)

• M.A./ M.Sc. Applied Operational Research (SOUTH CAMPUS) – (Two-year post graduate course)
Eligibility: (a) Any Master’s Degree examination of the University of Delhi or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto with at least two papers in Mathematics / Computer Science / Statistics/ Operational Research at graduation/higher level with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.

(b) Any Bachelor’s Degree examination under 10+2+3 scheme of examination of the University of Delhi or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto with at least two papers in Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Operational Research/ Statistics with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.

Note :

1. The candidates who are appearing in the final year examination of the degree on the basis of which admission is sought are also eligible to apply.

2. Applicants who have graduated under 10+2+3 scheme or an equivalent scheme are eligible for admission.

3. Relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility conditions will also be allowed to candidates belonging to all the reserved categories.
Application procedure: As the Eligibility Conditions are same for admission to both the Courses M.Sc. Operational Research Part-I at North Campus and M.A./M.Sc. Applied Operational Research Part-I at South Campus, the candidates may opt for admission to both the Courses. Accordingly, the Common Entrance Test fee would be as follows :

i) For General Category: Rs. 600/-
ii) Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/OBC Category: Rs.300/-

Payment should be made by crossed Bank Draft in favour of “Registrar, University of Delhi” payable at State Bank of India, New Delhi.

Foreign Students:

Foreign students seeking admission in the Department and satisfying the eligibility criteria are required to apply directly to the Foreign Students’ Advisor, Foreign Students Registry, c/o Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007 (India). No foreign student will be admitted directly by the Department. Foreign students studying in Indian Universities are required to appear in the Common Entrance Test. For foreign students there would be 5% additional seats over and above the sanctioned number of seats in both the Courses. Fee would be charged as per University rules.
