Eligibility Criteria

A candidate seeking registration for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Uttar Pradesh Technical University must hold one of the following qualifications:

Master's degree with first division in the appropriate field of Engineering / Technology / Pharmacy / Management / Architecture of the University or equivalent.

Bachelor's degree with first division in the appropriate field of Engineering / Technology / Pharmacy / Management / Architecture of the University or equivalent with two years of experience in Industry / Research / Teaching in reputed organization / Institution.

MCA degree of the University or equivalent with first division (for Computer Science & Engineering subject only)

Master's degree with first division in the field of Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics of a University.

Master's degree with first division in the field of Biotechnology / Bioinformatics of a University

Enclose a demand draft of Rs.1000/- drawn in favour of Finance Officer, GB Technical University, Lucknow payable at Lucknow towards the processing fee.

Eligibility Criteria

Master of Education: B.Ed. (HI) or any other equivalent degree from a UGC recognized University with 50% aggregate marks or B.Ed. (SE-DE) (HI) recognized by RCI with 50% aggregate marks and one year teaching experience after completion of the course OR B.Ed. (Gen) with 50% aggregate marks and D.Ed. (HI) / D.Ed. SE (HI) with 50% aggregate marks.

Master of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology: Bachelor of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology OR any equivalent degree recognized by the respective Universities and RCI (including internship). Internship Mandatory

Bachelor of Education: Degree in any discipline or equivalent from any UGC recognized University.

Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology: i) For Mumbai Center the eligibility is Pre University exam of any recognized university in India or equivalent of 10+2/HSC in India or abroad passed with Physics, Chemistry and any subject of Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Electronics, Psychology.

ii) For Kolkata Center, the eligibility is Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Mathematics/ Computer Science, English and any other Vth subject.

iii) for New Delhi Center, the eligibility is passed or appearing in 12th class from CBSE or equivalent with minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

iv) For Secunderabad, the eligibility is 10+2 passed with Physics, Chemistry and any subject of Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Electronics, Psychology or its equivalent.

Diploma in Education Special Education: 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board of Education with minimum of 45% marks for General and 40% marks for SC/ST/PH category.

Diploma in Hearing Language & speech: 10+2 passed with PCB / PCM or its equivalent.

Diploma in Sign Language Interpreter Course: 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board of Education. Preference will be given to more qualified candidates.

PG Diploma in Media and Disability Communication: PG Diploma or graduation in Journalism / Communication / Public Relations / Advertising / Mass Media from a recognized University / Institute with minimum of 50% marks.

Prescribed Application form and prospectus can be obtained from the respective centers in person or by Post on payment of Rs.500/- for General category and Rs.300/- for SC / ST / PH categories by way of Demand Draft in favour of “The Director, AYJNIHH, Mumbai”.

ASSO-CET to be held on 17 May 2011

ASSO-CET 2011 has been rescheduled from 1 May 2011 to 17 May 2011. This has been done so keeping in view of interests of candidates who are appearing for AIEEE 2011 Exam on May 1. Now the ASSO-CET shall be held on 17 May 2011 from 10 AM to 1 PM. The ASSO-CET 2011 results shall be declared on or before 15 June 2011.

DTU B.Tech. (Evening) Entrance Exam-2011

Delhi Technological University (DTU) will hold an Entrance Examination for admission to first year of the four year B.Tech. (Evening) Degree Program in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics & Communication Engineering for the academicyear2011-12 on 26.06.2011 (Sunday).

Eligibility Criteria

(a) Have passed State Diploma Examination in Engineering of three years duration &

(b) Have served for a period of not less than One year as on 1st day of September, 2011 in an established engineering works/organization, located in the NCT of Delhi and contiguous industrial areas shall be eligible to appear in the entrance examination

Application form of Entrance Examination is available from B.Tech (Evening) office, Room No. FW1-FF4, Electrical Engineering Department w.e.f. 25.04.2011 on all working days (Monday to Saturday) between 2.00 pm to 7.00 pm on submission of Crossed Bank Draft/Pay Order of Rs. 1,000/- issued only from State Bank of India and drawn in favour of The Co-ordinator, B.Tech (Evening) Entrance Examination -2011 payable at Delhi.

Candidates desirous of obtaining the Bulletin of Information by post should send their request to the Deputy Co-ordinator (Admn.), B.Tech. (Evening) Office, Room No. FW1-FF4, Electrical Engineering Department, Delhi Technological University (formerly Delhi College of Engineering), Bawana Road, Delhi-110042 enclosing therewith a self addressed envelop (25 cm x 18 cm) and a crossed Bank Draft/Pay Order for Rs. 1,100/- only from State Bank of India.

Request for issue of the Bulletin by post should reach the office on or before 05.05.2011.

CSIR Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI)

Admission to Ph.D Programmes July 2011

CSIR-CDRI invites applications for admission to Ph.D. programmes in the relevant areas of research in the institute.

Eligibility Criteria

M.Sc or equivalent in Life sciences/Biotechnology/Chemical/Pharmaceutical sciences and qualified in CSIR-UGC-NET, ICMR, DBT examination for Junior Research Fellowship.

The fellowship should be valid as on the date of joining.

Candidates appearing in final exams in 2011 and who have cleared the above exams for JRF can also apply.

Application Procedure

Candidates need to fill up the on-line application form that is available at the institute’s website (till 18 May 2011).

After submitting the online application form, print out the ID ticket generated and mail it along with photograph, photocopies of certificates of date of birth, educational qualifications and proof for qualifying JRF to Scientist-in-Charge, Academy Affairs Unit, Central Drug Research Institute (CSIR), Chattar Manzil, Lucknow-226 001 latest by 25th May, 2011.

Applications without hard copy submission of documents will not be considered.

Selection process:

All applications will be screened by a committee and only those candidates who are found suitable will be called for interview/counseling at CDRI, Lucknow on 27 and 28 June, 2011.

The committee can set their own criteria for short listing the candidates. No TA will be paid by CDRI and candidates will have to make their own arrangements for 2-3 days stay at Lucknow.

The number of students to be selected will depend on the vacancies available with scientists at CDRI.
