Applications are invited for admission to the Ph.D. Programme (Regular and Sponsored categories) of the Institute in all disciplines of Engineering & Technology, Science, Architecture & Regional Planning, Humanities & Social Sciences and Law (Intellectual Property Rights, Corporate Law, and Environment Law).

Candidates aged 35 years or less having a Ph.D. Degree and willing to carry out advanced research in the fields of Engineering & Technology, Science, Architecture & Regional Planning, Humanities & Social Sciences and Law (Intellectual Property Rights, Corporate Law, and Environment Law) should apply online.

Application Form - How To Apply

Applicants are required to apply online. Application fee is Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST). Women candidates are exempted from the payment of application fees.

Applicants are advised to visit to concerned Department Webpage for more details about research areas and faculty. They must also read Ph.D. Regulations of the institute for ELIGIBILITY and other details .

In order to fill in the online application, payment of application fee has to be made a priority. The payments are made through Demand Draft only.

Demand drafts of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250 for SC/ST category) should be made in favour of "IIT Kharagpur" on any nationalized bank payable at Kharagpur.

TISS Entrance Exam 2011 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can apply and appear for the TISS National Entrance Test for a maximum of three programmes.

(a) A Bachelor’s Degree of a minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a recognised university, in any discipline. OR

(b) Candidates who will complete all the requirements of their final year Bachelor’s Degree examinations by Saturday, June 9, 2012, are also eligible to apply to all the programmes (except the four programmes offered by the School of Health Systems Studies) provided they have successfully completed their first and second years, if the degree course is of 3 years; and the first, second and third years, if the degree course is of 4 years. Candidates applying for the M.A. Education (Elementary) programme should complete all the requirements by May 11, 2012. In such cases, admission to any of the Master’s Degree Programmes of the Institute will be provisional. If a provisionally admitted student fails in the final year examination, the offer of provisional admission automatically stands cancelled.

(c) Candidates applying for the Master of Public Health Policy, Economics and Finance; and Master of Public Health in Social Epidemiology Programmes should have a (i) Master’s degree in any discipline, or (ii) Bachelor’s degree in medicine, paramedical and other four years programme like pharmacy, veterinary sciences, engineering and others.

(d) Candidates applying for the Master of Health Administration and
Hospital Administration should have (i) successfully completed their graduate degree in any discipline, or (ii) Bachelor’s degree in medicine, paramedical and other four years programme like pharmacy, veterinary sciences, engineering and others.

(e) Candidates who are in their final year Bachelor’s degree programme are not eligible to apply for admission to any of the Master’s degree programmes conducted by School of Health Systems Studies, i.e., Health Administration, Hospital Administration; Public Health in Social Epidemiology; and Public Health in Health Policy,
Economics and Finance.

(f) Candidates applying for the Master in Habitat Policy and Practice
should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Management, Physical Sciences, Geography, Planning, Law, or Social Sciences, with some inclination towards habitat related issues/sectors.

(g) Medical graduates should complete their internship on or before Saturday, June 9, 2012. Otherwise, their candidature/admission stands cancelled.

Mode of Payment: Online Payment by NetBanking: Rs. Rs.2460/-
Mode of Payment: Cash Deposit in any SBI Branch using prescribed challan: Rs. Rs.2400/- + Bank Charges

Notes: (i) In case of payment by cash deposit in SBI branch, please note that the SBI will charge Rs. 50/- as their processing fee for each deposit, which cannot be adjusted against the application fee.

(ii) If payment is made via demand draft, pay order or any other mode, the application will be rejected and no communication to this effect will be sent to such candidates.

Candidates from remote places where no Internet and telecommunication facilities are available can get a printed copy of the application form from the Institute.

Unemployed Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, whose parent’s/guardian’s income is less than Rs. 2 Lakhs and Rs. 1.45 Lakhs, respectively, are exempt from paying the Application Fee. They should apply through the E-application, and if they are from remote places, they can send a request letter without the payment challan and stamped envelope, but with a request letter, a plain self-addressed envelope and copies of Caste and Income Certificates attested by any School headmaster or a Principal of College or a gazetted officer. Requests received without the above Certificates will be rejected and no communication will be sent in this regard.

For remote area candidates:

CAT 2011 last date extended

CAT 2011 administering authority has extended CAT Registration Deadline till October 4. Now CAT Voucher will be on sale till October 1, 2011. The examination is held for admission into IIMs MBA Program and various other management colleges across India for admission in Post Graduate Management courses. CAT 2011 is open to candidates who have completed or completing graduate college education and willing to pursue management course in post graduate studies. Prometric Vue is CAT 2011 Exam Administrator.

IRMA 2011 Registration deadline extended

Institute of Rural Management IRMA Anand has extended last of registration for 5 days. Earlier IRMA 2011 last date was September 30 2011, which has now extended to October 5, 201. However IRMA 2011 Entrance Exam shall be held on November 30, 2011 as declared in earlier schedule.

Admission to Master of International business and Human Resource Management

Applications are invited for admission to XVIII batch of the following two year full-time (four semester) professional programmes, beginning in July, 2012

(1) Master of International Business (MIB)

(2) Master of Human Resource and Organizational Development (MHROD)

Eligibility

Bachelors degree in any discipline from the University of Delhi or any other University recognized as an equivalent thereto, with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Relaxation of 5% Marks for SC/ST/CW/PH /OBC candidates.

Candidates appearing in the Final year degree examination may also apply, Reservation of seats for SC/ST/CW/PH/ OBO Foreign candidates are admissible as per the University rules.

DU MIB & MHROD Application Form - How To Apply

The Prospectus and Application form (i) can be obtained in person against a Bank Draft of Rs.1000/- for one course and Rs.1700/- for both courses ( Rs.800/- and Rs.1200/- respectively only for the SC/ ST/ PH/ CW/ OBC Category), drawn in favour of the Registrar, University of Delhi, from any nationalized Bank, payable at Delhi

(ii) Prospectus can also be downloaded from Website : www.commercedu.com and http://www.du.ac.in by paying the same fees as above or

(iii) by post from the Section Officer, Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007 by adding Rs.100/- to the above mentioned fees according to the respective category fee along with one self-addressed envelope (28 cms X 22 cms) Write name, address, telephone and course(s) applied for at the back of Bank Draft. Also enclose one self addressed (size 10”X4") envelope with postage stamps of Rs.5/- affixed on envelope for delivery of Admit Card etc. along with the duly filled in application form.

(iv) Student can also apply online through http://docdse.admissionhelp.com and may make payment using credit / debit cards, net banking, cash deposit with Axis Bank and CBS branches of post office by adding a service fee of Rs.100 only.

ADMISSION PROCESS: The admission to MIB/MHROD courses will be made on the basis of CAT score, GD score, and Interview score. Students will have to submit CAT score after appearing in the Common Admission Test conducted by IIMs.

Bharat Ratna Dr B.R. Ambedkar University MBA Admission


2-year (Full Time) MBA programme beginning in July 2012

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must have pursued a 3-year Bachelor’s programme securing at least 50 % of marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe
(ST) and Physically Disabled (PD). Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.

If selected, such candidates will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, provided he/she submits the results fulfilling the criteria to the AUD office latest by July 31, 2012.

Admission Procedure

Candidates will be shortlisted for Group Discussion and Interview on the basis of their scores in the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIMs. The CAT registration will be open from August 17 to September 28, 2011.

The candidates are required to apply to SBPPSE (AUD) by quoting their CAT Reg. No. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.
