IIT Delhi Notice to UG 1Sem Students

The students who are planning to join IIT Delhi for Under Graduate studies in 2012 are encouraged to register for "Self Enrichment Programme" starting on 9th July, 2012. This is a 10 day programme conducted by CREST (Centre for Research and Education for Social Transformation, Calicut) and IIT Delhi. The program will help in guiding yourself towards better academic goals while keeping yourself grounded throughout the academic journey of IIT Delhi. NSOU Kolkata Admission 2012

The Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU) invites applications for admission into following courses

(1) B.A. Elective/Honours in Bengali, English, History, Economics, Political Science, Public
Administration and Sociology.
(2) B.Com. Elective/Honours
(3) B.Sc. Elective/Honours in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology and Geography.


Eligibility Criteria : Passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination. (Those who have passed BPP from NSOU or other recognized University are eligible to apply only for (1) & (2). For details, please see the prospectus.

Duration: Minimum 3 years, maximum 6 years.
Course Fee: 1500/- per annum for B.A. and B.Com.
2200/- per annum for B.Sc.
(Candidates opting for lab-based subsidiary papers in science should pay 2500/- as course fee in place of 2200/-).

Rs 100/- for Registration, 100/- for Identity Card and 130/- as Annual Development fee
Annul Development fee of 130/- is to be paid in subsequent years i.e.at the time of renewal in the 2nd year and 3rd year along with course fee.

Rs 40/- extra as collection charge payable to the respective branches of Axis Bank.

How to apply?


Step (i) The applicant need to fill-up and submit on-line the application form and take print out of the filled in application form & three-part pay-in-slip from our admission website www.wbnsouadmissions.com

Step (ii) The applicant need to visit any designated Axis Bank Branch during office hours to deposit his/her application fee of 100/-. After depositing the requisite fees at bank, he/she must obtain two copies of Bank Challan, one copy for his/her own record and one copy for the university.
Step (iii) He/she then needs to attach necessary documents with the filled-in computer generated application form and then is required to report to the Study Centre, of his/her choice during its working hours to have it checked and verified by the coordinator concerned.

He will collect a copy of the university prospectus from that Study Centre along with bank challan for depositing the admission fees from the Study Centre. The prospectus contains a perforated enrolment form which is to be filled up by the applicant This is required for generation of enrolment certificate.

Step (iv) The applicant then needs to visit the any one of the designated branches of Axis Bank during banking hours to deposit his/her admission fees. After due payment he/she must obtain from the bank two copies of Bank Challans, one copy for his/her own record and one copy for the University.

Step (v) Then he/she needs to submit within 18/8/2012 the computer generated application form, necessary documents, photograph and university copy of the challan obtained from the Bank to the Study Centre along with the filled in enrolment form for onward transmission to the University. Along with the aforesaid documents, the learner may like to carry a photocopy of his/her computer generated admission form. After
submitting all the documents to the Study Centre he/she may like to have a photocopy of the computer generated application form signed and stamped by the person attending him/her in the Study Centre. This signed and stamped copy he/she may preserve as a proof of submission.

Important Note: Students with BPP background will not come under the purview of on-line admission process. They can collect the prospectus on payment of 100/- directly to the study centre ( During 06/7/2012 to 28/7/2012) on verification of the documents the study centres may allow them to submit admission fees to the bank during 23/7/2012 to 28/7/2012. Such cases may be forwarded in a separate cover to this University, containing.
1) Filled-up enrolment form (with documents)

UKTech AIEEE 2012 B.Tech Counseling

The Uttarakhand Technical University will conduct B.Tech Admission Counseling 2012-13 for AIEEE 2012 qualified candidates. The online counseling for admission into B.Tech 1st year / Ist Semester for state and all india seats shall be held on 27.06.2012 onwards for Govt, University Constitutent and Private Engg Colleges located in state of Uttarakhand in 2 phases. GBTU Counseling 2012 AIEEE/CMAT Applicants

Counselling Notice for AIEEE-2012 and CMAT-2012 quota seats

As notified in the information brochure of UPSEE-2012, the State Govt. has permitted 20% of the sanctioned seats available in private engineering institutions to be filled on the basis of AIEEE-2012 (All India Engineering Entrance Examination) and CMAT-2012 (Common Management Admission Test conducted by AICTE) merit for admission to first year of B.Tech./B.Arch. and MBA courses; out of which 10% seats will be filled by U.P. domicile candidates on U.P. State Rank using U.P. reservation policy and the remaining 10% seats will be filled by all India candidates without reservation subject to eligibility conditions as specified in UPSEE-2012 brochure (refer the information brochure available online on http.//www.upsee.nic.in). Only such candidates who have secured total marks higher than cut off marks declared by AIEEE-2012 and CMAT-2012, in the respective categories, are eligible to apply for admission through this counseling.

Online application forms are invited from the candidates declared successful by the respective authority conducted AIEEE-2012/CMAT–2012 through the website http.//www.upsee.nic.in.

The schedule for online application & counseling are as follows:

1. Application : 28th June 2012 to 2nd July 2012
2. Counselling : 5th & 6th July 2012

While filling the application form your roll number, application form number and date of birth is required. The detailed procedure for filling the application form is available on website http.//www.upsee.nic.in.

Please ensure to take the print out of confirmation page with unique application number after filling the online application form.

Eligibility Criteria:

For DoPT Sponsored candidates: The programme is open to officers of All India Services, Central Services (organised, non-organised, technical and non-technical), faculty members of State ATIs and State Civil Service Officers subject to the following eligibility conditions:

Age: The officer should not be more than 50 years of age on the date of commencement of the programme (53 years in case of officers belonging to SC and ST);

Length of Service: Officers of All India Services, Central Services should have put in at least seven years of Group “A” service. The State Civil Service Officers should have put in at least nine years of Group “A” service.

Earlier Training: The officer should not have undergone a training programme of 12 weeks or more duration in India during a period of five years preceding the date of commencement of the programme. The officer should not have undergone a programme of training abroad of more than two weeks in preceding two years, more than one month in preceding three years or more than six months in the preceding five years.

For Self & Corporate sponsored candidates:
The participant must have a Bachelor degree in any field of study and at least 09 years of experience of which a minimum of 3 years must be in the middle management (or equivalent) levels in their current organizations.
