CMAT 2014-15 (Second Test)

AICTE conducts National Level Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) twice a year for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in management programmes approved by AICTE.

This notification is issued to announce the schedule for conducting Second Test of Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) for admission for academic year 2014-15.


The candidates who have already appeared in CMAT First Test may also appear for CMAT Second Test and better of two scores will be used for admission for 2014-15

Important Dates for CMAT 2014-15 Second Test

  • Registration window opens on – 1 November 2013
  • Last Date for Online Registration- 2 January 2014
  • Printout of Hall Ticket- From 5 February 2014
  • Computer Based Test (CBT)- 20 February 2014 – 24 February 2014
  • Test Timings- 9.30 am – 12.30 pm; and 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm

Print out of Score Cards CMAT 2014-15 Second Test- From 14 March 2014 to 13 April 2014

Eligibility Criteria CMAT 2014-15 Second Test
Graduates in any discipline or Final year students of Graduate Courses (10+2+3) whose result will be declared before commencement of admission for 2014 can apply for CMAT online.

Registration CMAT 2014-15 Second Test

  • Online from 1 November 2013 to 2 January 2014 on website: www.aicte-cmat.in
  • Choice of 3 dates and 3 cities of India for online examination in the order of preference.
  • Allotment will be based on first come and first served. Actual allotment however will be subject to availability of the slots in a particular city.

Test Fee CMAT 2014-15 Second Test

  • CMAT 2014-15 Second Test for any test centre inIndia
  • For General / OBC – Rs 1200/- + Bank Charges as applicable.
  • SC/ST/PD- Rs 600 + Bank Charges as applicable.
Note: Fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

Mode of Payment

Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card: Online through www.aicte-cmat.in

Cash Payment: Through Challan generated online and cash deposited in any Branch of State Bank of India.

MBA / PG Diploma Admission Process Through CMAT

The detailed merit list will be provided to the respective state governments for allotting the students through central counseling or otherwise as per their notified admission procedure.

In case there is no central counseling scores awarded will be used for admission in the AICTE approved Institutes / University Departments.

1 Year PG Diploma for Executives Admission 2014

Post Graduate Program for Executives for Visionary Leadership in Manufacturing

A joint one-year diploma program of IIM Calcutta, IIT Kanpur & IIT Madras

Graduate Engineers with First Division / First Class Marks from SLC / Madhyamik with minimum 4 ½ years to maximum 10 years work experience (for self sponsored candidates) and minimum 4 ½ years work experience (for sponsored / on study leave) in manufacturing, engineering, related sectors may apply for admission in 2014-15 academic session commencing from 01/04/2014 at IIM Calcutta. Download e-Admit Card - UPSC Geologists' Examination 2013 and IES/ISS Examination 2013

Union Public Service Commission - Geologists’ Examination 2013 and Indian Economic Service / Indian Statistical Service Examination 2013

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be conducting the Geologists’ Examination 2013 and Indian Economic Services / Indian Statistical Service Examination 2013 from 9 November 2013 to 11 November 2013 at various Centres all over India as per UPSC Notification. E-Admit cards are available on the Commission’s website www.upsc.gov.in


Candidates are advised to download and check the e-Admit Card carefully and bring discrepancy, if any, to the notice of the commission immediately.

Rejection letters citing the ground(s) for rejection have been dispatched and also put on the Union Public Service Commission website http://www.upsc.gov.in

In case of any difficulty faced by the candidates in downloading e-Admit Card, they may contact the UPSC Facilitation Counter on Telephone Nos. 011-23385271, 011-23381125 and 011-23098543 on any working day between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. The candidates can also send Fax message on Fax No 011-23387310

No Admit Card will be sent by post.

In case the photograph is not printed clear on the e-Admit Card candidates are advised to carry two (2) photographs (one identical photograph for each session) alongwith proof of identity such as Identity Card or Voter Identity Card or Passport or Driving License and printout of e-Admit Card at the Venue of the Examination.

Mobile Phones Banned

A) Mobile phones, or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises where the examination is being conducted. Any  infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future examination.
B) Candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones/pagers to the venue of the examination, as arrangements for their safe-keeping cannot be assured.
