The downloaded shall be submitted with a Demand Draft covering Form Fee + Test Fee + Postage Rs. 100/-

IISER BS-MS Dual Degree Admission 2014

Applications are invited for admission to the five year BS-MS Dual Degree Programme at Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) at Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune and Thiruvananthpuram for the academic session beginning August 2014.


Eligibility Criteria

Candidates satisfying at least one of the following three criteria are eligible to apply:

Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Basic Science Stream: Students Qualifying in SA 2012 / SX 2013 / SB 2013

Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced) 2014: Students obtaining a minimum of 60% marks in Class XII and securing a place in the Rank List of Joint Entrance Examination JEE Advanced 2014 for the Admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

State and Central Boards:

Students who passed Class 12th in 2013 or appeared in 2014 in Science Stream with either

1. Marks above or equal to the cut-off percentage declared by DST available at www.iiser-admissions.in as eligibility for INSPIRE Fellowship. For OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / PD Category candidates, there is 5% relaxation in the DST Cut-Off. The Cut-off for SC / ST candidates is 55% in Class XII for all boards.

2. Advisory note for the eligibility for Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE) under INSPIRE scheme based only on the performance in Class XII Board Examination.

Merely meeting the eligibility criteria or receiving a call letter for counseling does not entitle a candidate for admission to IISERs..

UPSC: Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Exam 2013

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) New Delhi will be conducting Interviews / Personality Tests for Central Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination 2013 from 16 June 2014 to 4 July 2014 in the Commissions Office at New Delhi.


Summon letters for PT / Interview to all eligible candidates are being issued. If any candidate does not receive summon letter for PT / Interview, he / she may Contact Tel. He / She may contact UPSC Facilitation Counter near Gate C of its campus in person or over Telephones: 011-23385271 / 23381125 / 23098543 on all working days between 10 am to 5 pm. The schedule of Personality Test / Interview is also available on www.upsc.gov.in

In case any candidate does not receive the summon letter, he / she could also download the email message sent to him / her and attend the interview on the slotted date and session. He / She should bring along all original documents relating to age, educational qualification, caste / community certificate, ex-serviceman / civilian central government servant / J&K Migrant Certificate, NOC from Department, if already employed. He / she will not be allowed to appear for Interview on failure to produce above original documents on the date of Interview.
