Current Affairs: India Railway Budget 2015-16

The India Railway Budget 2015 is passed in the Parliament of India on February 26, 2015. On the basis of this budget various priorities are fixed for next one year; like Passenger’s Fare, Freight Charges, and Expenditures on Infrastructure etc. This is must read and follow thing for students in general and those appearing for competitive examinations in particular like Civil Services, MBA, Railway Recruitment Examinations etc. Also, text from India Railway Budget can make part of Group Discussion for admission into management programs.

The Indian Railways comes under the purview of Ministry of Railways of Government of India. The Minister of Railways read the Budget Document. This year, Mr. Suresh Prabhu, the Railway Minister of India presented the budget in Lok Sabha (the Upper House of Parliament of India).
