No formal qualification other than age (not less than 19 years) has been prescribed for these courses.

Eligibility: Candidates having 3/4 year Diploma (with minimum 60% mark) in any stream of Engineering except Agriculture Engg, preferably in textile related course.

Eligibility: Candidates having 3/4 years Diploma (with minimum 60% marks) from institution recognized by the Board of Technical Education of any state in any branch of Engineering/ Technology except Agriculture Engg. And / or candidates who have passed B. Sc examination with Mathematics as a subject and securing minimum 60% mark in aggregate in B. Sc are eligible for admission to Second year in B. Tech (carpet & Textile Technology) course. The candidate must be sponsored from industry.

Applications are invited for admission to the following programmes
The candidates should have passed the MD/DNB exam prior to the date of entrance examination failing which they will not be allowed to appear for the entrance examination.
In case the candidate is waiting for the results, unable to enclose the pass certificate, he / she can mention the same in the application and will have to submit the pass certificate compulsorily to the Controller of Examinations one day before the entrance test and collect the hall ticket.
MCh Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery
MS/DNB in General Surgery from an Indian University recognized by the Institute or Diplomat of National Board in General Surgery or any other examination approved by the Institute for this purpose from time to time.
The candidates should have passed the MS/DNB exam prior to the date of entrance examination failing which they will not be allowed to appear for the entrance examination. In case the candidate is waiting for the results, unable to enclose the pass certificate, he / she can mention the same in the application and will have to submit the pass certificate compulsorily to the Controller of Examinations one day before the entrance test and collect the hall ticket.
Application Procedure
Candidate may download the prospectus along with the application form from the ILBS website (www.ilbs.in ). Candidate must ensure their eligibility from the prospectus before applying.
Application form duly filled in with all necessary documents attached should be submitted in person or sent by post to the Assistant Registrar, Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (ILBS), D-1, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, 110070 on or before 5:00 PM of 19th Jul, 2010.
Application form must be accompanied by the application fee in form of Demand Draft for Rs. 2000/- (Rupees two thousand) only, payable at New Delhi, in favor of the “Director, ILBS, New Delhi”.
Application fee once paid will not be refunded even in case of his/her application is rejected. The filled in applications received after the prescribed date and time shall not be considered.
