Application Procedure


Forms with details may be obtained/downloaded from the website (www.nmi.gov.in ). Filled in application forms affixing passport size photograph and enclosing a statement of purpose of about 250 words as to ‘what will the above course help you to achieve’ be sent to Assistant Registrar latest by 30-06-2011.

No formal qualification other than age (not less than 19 years)has been prescribed for these courses.

The admission will be made on the basis of information given in the application form (please also attach attested photocopies of testimonials regarding qualification and experience, if any) and the statement of purpose. The fee for each course is Rs.2000/- only to be deposited at the time of admission.

Price at the counter is Rs. 200/- (Rs. 50/- for SC/ BC/ Blind Candidates of Haryana).

Admission to B.E. (Full Time) Programs

Admission to B.E. (Full Time) Programs for the academic session 2011- 2012

Eligibility Criteria

For Delhi and outside Delhi Region (except the nominees of Ministry of Govt. of India) the candidate should have appeared in AIEEE-2011 and have been declared eligible for Central Counseling Board by the C.B.S.E.

A candidate who has passed any of the following qualifying examinations from a recognized School/ College/Institute located within NCT of Delhi (for Delhi Region candidates) or located outside NCT of Delhi (for Outside Delhi Region candidates) only and securing 60 % or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, shall be eligible to apply for admission to the first semester of Bachelor of Engineering Courses provided he has passed in each subject in one of the following examinations separately:

(i) Senior School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.), New Delhi.

(ii) Indian School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.

(iii) Any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate Examination of the C.B.S.E. by the University of Delhi.

A candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study either at the 10th Class level or 12th Class level (core or elective).

Candidate who has appeared at the appropriate qualifying annual Examination mentioned above of the year 2011 and placed in compartment will not be eligible for admission for the year 2011-2012.

Application Procedure

NSIT will hold Counseling (application to be filled online) for admission to 1st year B.E. (Full-time) based on All India rank of AIEEE–2011 results, as applicable, in collaboration with National Informatics Centre (NIC).

1. COUNSELING FEE: To participate in Counseling, every eligible candidate, irrespective of his category, will have to deposit a non-refundable Counseling fee of Rs.1000/- (in cash only) in any branch of Andhra Bank through a duly filled challan form available on website. Only those candidates will be able to participate who have deposited the Counseling fee. Counseling fee will be deposited from 6th June 2011 (Monday) to 15th June 2011 (Wednesday) at any designated branch of the Andhra Bank.

2. ONLINE REGISTRATION: Having paid the Counseling fee, the candidate shall log on to http://www.nsit.nic.in where the registration form shall be displayed on the screen with the following parameters mandatory for successful registration i.e., AIEEE Roll No., AIEEE All India Rank, Candidate Name and Date of Birth. Online registration facility will be available from 21st June 2011 to 27th June 2011.

Candidate should take the print out of the filled choices, self-attest it and submit it at the time of admission.
