Applications are invited from distinguished or renowned persons in the field of Technical Education for the post of VICE-CHAIRMAN, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)
, a Statutory Body under the Ministry of Human Resource Development in the Scale of Pay of Rs 75,500-80,000, Grade Pay-Nil by deputation/short-term contract for a term of three years or till the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier. Applicants should preferably be below the age of 60 years at the time of closing date for applications.

VITEEE 2012: Results on May 4

The Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2012 will be declared on May 04, 2012.
The VITEEE 2012 shall be held on 21.04.2012.

Karnataka CET 2012 Postponed

The buzz is that KCET 2012 Postpond to a later date, now the exam shall be held on May 21 and May 22, 2012;
so precisely 3 weeks delay almost, earlier KCET 2012 was scheduled for May 3 and May 4 2012. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is administering body for CET Karnataka 2012. Other dates related to CET Karnataka 2012 are expected to remain the same.

JET Punjab 2012 Last Date Extended

The Joint Entrance Test (JET) 2012 of Punjab State Technical Education and Industrial Training Board has extended till 25.04.2012
, according to different news sources. Earlier the last date for submission of application form was 02.04.2012. On the basis of JET 2012 admission shall be offered in 129 government and non-government polytechnics with a total of 60,000 seats.

Eligibility : The test shall be open to candidates who have passed the matriculation or equivalent examination in Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) and English.
