Important - Candidates whose e-Admit Cards do not bear their photographs are advised to paste their photograph on e-Admit Card and get the same attested by a Gazetted Officer. They may carry the same for admission at the centre of their examination. They should also carry with them proof of their identity such as office I-Card/Driving License, Voter I-Card etc. to the venue of their examination.

IITs UG Admission 2012
The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are once again geared up for admission 2012 into undergraduate programs in engineering, science, technology, management, architecture, design etc. IIT JEE 2012 results are scheduled on May 18, 2012; the big day for IIT JEE 2012 test takers. This article is about how to gain admission in IITs UG program
aka IITs UG Admission 2012 Procedure.
The IIT JEE 2012 results are scheduled for May 18, 2012. The AIR of candidates will be declared by IIT JEE 2012 authority which will be a passport for taking admissions into undergraduate engineering, technology, sciences and management degree programs offered by following autonomous institutes of excellence declared by the parliament of India.
IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee, IIT-BHU Varnasi, ISM Dhanbad, IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Gandinagar, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Indore, IIT Mandi, IIT Patna, IIT Rajasthan & IIT Ropar
The seats in these institutes will be offered on the basis of All India Rank (AIR) in IIT JEE 2012, category rank, and the choices of each qualified student submitted at the time of counseling.
Besides IITs some institutes will also use IIT JEE 2012 AIR for admission into undergraduate engineering and technology degree programs. The IIT JEE 2012 will provide the AIR of interested candidates to these institutions. Interested candidates would require contacting these institutes separately.
The candidates qualified in IIT JEE 2012 would require submitting a physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner in the prescribed format
For admission into Mining Engineering and Mining Machinery you must be free from any sorts of Color Blindness. Candidates interested into mining programs would need to submit a certificate from a registered medical practitioner during the time of counseling or admission. The standards of visual acuity with or without glasses will be adhered to strictly for candidates seeking admission to Mining Engineering as per DGMS Circular 14 of 1972. Persons with one-eyed vision are not permitted to work underground. Candidates with the above limitations are not allowed to opt for admission to Mining Engineering or Mining Machinery Engineering.
Section 46 (1) of the Mines Act, 1952 states that "No woman shall, notwithstanding anything contained in any other law, be employed (a) in any part of a mine which is below ground, (b) in any mine above ground except between 06.00 and 19.00 hrs.". Hence, female candidates are not admitted to Mining Engineering and Mining Machinery Engineering at ISM Dhanbad, whereas the corresponding programmes at IIT Kharagpur and IT-BHU Varanasi have no such restriction.
This test will be one paper of three hours duration - from 09:00 to 12:00 hrs. Question papers for Aptitude Test for B. Arch. will be in English only.

Question papers for Aptitude Test for B. Arch. will be in English only.
