This announcement of Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) is for the General Information of the candidates who have applied for the Post of Naib Tehsildar in Revenue Department, Haryana against Advt. No. 5 published by the commission on 25.09.2013 in various newspapers. Now the commission has decided to shortlist the candidates for Interview by holding a screening test of the candidate for this post on 27 July 2014 (Sunday) from 11 AM to 1 AM at Chandigarh, Panchkula and Ambala.
Further it is also informed that on the basis of marks obtained in the screening test, four time candidates against the number of advertised posts in order of merit including bracketed candidates, if any, will be called for interview, subject to the fulfillment of all eligibility conditions as advertised.
The Question Paper will be of multiple choice and the standard of the question paper for these posts will be of the level of Essential Educational Qualifications prescribed for the respective.
The Question paper will consists of Questions in General Science, Current Events of National and International Importance, History of India and Indian National Movement, Indian & World Geography, Indian Culture, Indian Polity and Indian Economy, General Mental Ability, Haryana Economy & People, Social, Economics and Cultural Institutions and Language of Haryana.
The question paper comprising of 100 questions and will be of 100 marks.
There will be no negative marking.
The screening test will be of qualifying nature and marks obtained in the screening test will not be given any weightage for final selection.
The Admit Cards for the screening test will be available on Commission’s Website www.hpsconline.in after 14 July 2014
Important: Physically disabled (partially blind) candidates need help of a scribe for writing may apply to the commission for seeking permission of having a scribe atleast 10 days before the commencement of examination.
