Admission – 2008 – 2009
1. Post-graduate Diploma Course in Journalism (English), New Delhi & Dhenkanal branch (Orissa).

Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline. Those who have appeared/appearing final degree examination are also eligible to apply.
Date of Birth: 1.8.1983 or later (for SCs/ STs/ PH 01.08.1978 or later and for OBC 01.08.1980 or later).
Application Procedure: 1. Application forms can be purchased in person or by post.
Application forms and prospectus can be obtained on payment of Rs. 450/- through a Demand Draft only, drawn on any Scheduled Bank payable at New Delhi, from IIMC, New Delhi or Dhenkanal Branch (Orissa). Request for application forms should be accompanied with Demand Draft and self-addressed stamped (Rs. 25) envelope (27 x 17 cm.). Completed application forms along with Demand Draft for Rs. 450/- for General Category and Rs. 350/- for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped Category drawn in favour of IIMC, New Delhi, as entrance examination fee should reach on or before April 16, 2008.

The application form can be filled online at www.iimc.gov.in Each application form must be accompanied by a Demand Draft for Rs. 900/- for General and Rs. 800/- for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped Categories drawn in favour of Registrar, IIMC, New Delhi. Application forms filled online will be accepted only after receipt of the requisite examination fee by post/in person. Last date for receipt of application forms and DD is April 16, 2008.

Date of Entrance Test : Entrance Examination: 20th May, 2008 at New Delhi. Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Patna, Lucknow, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati Centres. Oriya Journalism Exam will be held on 19th May 2008 at Bhubaneswar Centre only.
Note : The sale of application forms will commence at IIMC, New Delhi and Dhenkanal Branch from 5 March 2008. Application form/entrance examination for Course No. 1, 2 is common. There are separate application forms/entrance examinations for Course No. 3, 4 & 5. Candidates who wish to apply for all Courses Viz Journalism (Coruse 1 & 2). Radio & TV Journalism (Course No. 3) Advertising and Public Relations (Course No. 4) and Oriya Journalism (Course No. 5) will have to fill separate application forms.
Last date for issue of application forms in person/post is April 9, 2008.

Applications on prescribed form are invited for admission in Ph.D. Programme under the FACULTY OF AGRICULTURE during the second semester of Academic Session 2007-2008 in the following subjects .

Eligibility: 1. A good Academic record with OGPA 3.00/4.00, 6.50/10.00 OR 60% marks under marks system of examination in the relevant discipline at M.Sc.(Ag.)/M Sc level. ("Only for Forestry & Bio-technology)

2. Relaxation of 5% marks in minimum percentage of prescribed marks for admission in master’s degree will be given to SC/ST candidates and departmental candidates having an experience of minimum of 5 years.

3. Please bring the 10+2. B Sc (Ag.)/B Sc /M Sc.(Ag )/M.Sc marks sheet/degree in original at the time of test. The other certificates regarding participation in games/sports/NCC and other extra curricular activities may also be brought in original at the time of test.

State by sending attested copy of the caste certificate issued by the competent authority) in shape of Crossed Demand Draft in favour of "Indira Gandhi Krishi Vlshwavidyalaya, Raipur (C.G.)" payable in Raipur along with self addressed envelope (23” X 10”) affixed with postal stamps of Rs.20/-.

Note : Candidates possessing minimum admission requirement should attend Written test on 29.2.08 at 11.00 am in College of Agriculture, Raipur. Counseling of qualified candidates will be held on 1.3.08 at 11.00 AM in the office of Dean, College of Agriculture, Raipur along with all original certificates and testimonials. A. Admission shall be given on the basis of Written test, interview and academic performance. B. No separate CET/ interview /call letter will be issued. C. No TA/DA or remuneration of any nature will be paid to candidates for attending the written test and/or interview/counseling. Master in Medical Science and Technology (MMST) – 2008 – 2009

Eligibility: A MBBS degree recognized by the Medical Council of India

Application procedure: MMST 2008 application can only be submitted by an ONLINE process by accessing the website of the institute during 4th Feb to 29th Feb 2008. The candidate should first pay the non-refundable application fee of Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST category) by obtaining a Demand Draft in favour of “ IIT Kharagpur”, payable at any nationalized bank in Kharagpur, West Bengal.

The draft details are required while filling up the online form. Candidates are required to take a print of the Online Application Form after successful submission of data. The printed form with candidate’s signature and photograph and the DD must be sent by Speed Post so as to reach “The Chairman, GATE, IIT Kharagpur, Kharagpur – 721 302 by 7th March, 2008.
