Advanced Postgraduate Programs in: Computational Fluid Dynamics & Oil and Gas Engineering
Eligibility: 1. Advanced Postgraduate Program in Software Technologies (APGP-ST)

Graduates with any Bachelor's Degree (with minimum 50 percent marks or equivalent grades) of at least three years' duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10+2 school level.
Sound computing background in C and C++ programming languages.

2. Advanced Postgraduate Program in Networking & Telecommunications (APGP-NTC):

Graduates with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology (with minimum 50 percent marks or equivalent grades) in Electrical / Electronics / Communication / Information Technology / Computer Science / Instrumentation or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of Data Communication and Networking. Programming background in C and C++.

3. Advanced Postgraduate Program in Embedded Systems Design (APGP-ESD):

Graduates with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology (with minimum 50 percent marks or equivalent grades) in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Communication / Information Technology / Computer Science/ MSc in Electronics or equivalent with at least 50% marks at the graduation level.
Proficiency in C, C++ and Java is desired.

4. Advanced Postgraduate Program in Microelectronics & VLSI Design (APGP-MVD):

Graduates with a Bachelor's Degree (with minimum 50 percent marks or equivalent grades) of at least four years' duration in Electrical / Electronics / Communication / Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of Digital and Analog systems.





5. Advanced Postgraduate Program in Business Management (APGP-BM)

Graduates with any recognized Bachelor's Degree of minimum three years duration in any field with at least 50% marks at the graduation level. Graduates in Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, the Sciences, Engineering and Technology are preferred.
Proficiency in C /C++ programming will be an advantage.

6. Advanced Postgraduate Program in Information Technology Management (APGP-ITM)

Graduates with any recognized Bachelors Degree of minimum three years duration with focused education in IT, with at least 50 % marks at the graduation level.
Programming background in C /C++ is desired.

7. Advanced Postgraduate Program in Telecom Management (APGP-TCM)

Graduates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology in Electrical/ Electronics / Communication / Information Technology / Computer Science / Instrumentation or MSc / BSc in Computers /Electronics / Physics, MCS / BCS, MCA, MCM or equivalent (with minimum 50 percent marks or equivalent grades). Basic knowledge of data communication and networking, and programming is desirable.

8. Advanced Postgraduate Program in Biotechnology Management (APGP-BTM)

Graduates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology (with minimum 50 percent marks or equivalent grades) in Electrical / Electronics / Communication / Information Technology / Computer Science / Instrumentation / Medicine / Pharmacy / Science or equivalent.

9. Advanced Postgraduate Program in Oil and Gas Management (APGP-OGM)

Graduates / Postgraduates with Degree in Engineering / Technology / Science / Geo-science from any recognized University (with minimum 50% marks or equivalent grades).

Accepted Qualifying Examination: CAT / GRE / XAT / GMAT / GATE

English certificate course (TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS). - ONLY MANDATORY FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS
Application procedure: All students who would like to apply for the Advanced Postgraduate Programs in Information Technology and Management would have to register and apply online.

Before applying online they are requested to make a demand draft of Rs. 1500/- (Rupees One Thousand Five Hundred only) drawn in favour of International Institute of Information Technology payable at Pune towards a non-refundable registration fee.

Students can then send the DD along with the final printed version of the online application, passport size photograph (2 nos), photocopies of all the mark sheets, degree certificates, experience certificate (if applicable) and a handwritten Statement of 2 Purpose (A personal statement that explains in 200-250 words why you would like to join this program at I2IT) to the given address.

Christian Medical College

MEDICAL PG (DNB) ADMISSIONS 2009

The Courses are:

Anaesthesia, General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Paediatrics, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Psychiatry, Radiodiagnosis, Respiratory Medicine, Nuclear Medicine

Duration:

2 years for Post-Diploma Candidates and 2 years for primary candidates
Eligibility: 1. Candidates having qualified for the M.B.B.S Degree of Madras University or any other University recognized as equivalent by the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University and the Indian Medical Council and obtained full registration and having completed their compulsory rotating residential internship before 15/05/2009 are eligible to apply for the DNB courses.

2. Those applying for Dip.N.B. are required to have cleared the primary examination of the NBE or have a recognized diploma in the same subject to be eligible for admission.

3. Those with a service obligation will need to have completed the same by 15/05/2009
Application procedure: Application forms can be accessed on-line from the Christian Medical College website http://home.cmcvellore.ac.in/admissions and submitted with a basic administrative fee of Rs.300/-.

Application forms are also available by post from the Office of the Registrar on payment of Rs.300/-. To get this form, pay as indicated below and send the DD, the original Challan or receipt to: Office of the Registrar, CMC, Thorapadi PO, Vellore 632002. State your full postal address with Pin-code. Please also mention your telephone number and email address if available. No additional money, stamps or envelopes are required.





Candidates applying from abroad (other than SAARC countries) should send a Demand Draft for Fifty US Dollars or its equivalent.

Payment can be made using any of the following methods:

(1) As a challan at no extra cost at any branch of ICICI bank in India. Please mention FC-CMC-V on the challan. (Send original challan)

(2) Demand draft in favour of “C.M.C. Vellore Association a/c” on any scheduled bank, payable in Vellore.

Registration fees:

A registration fee of Rs.500/- per course to be paid by any one of the methods. This amount is not refundable. When paid by challan or demand draft, please mention details in the form and enclose the original challan or DD (and keep a Xerox copy for your reference).

Acknowledgement card with your address and other details duly filled in and Rs.6/- stamp affixed.

1. Candidates can apply for a maximum of 2 courses.

2. Candidates must mention the order of preference for admission into the courses in the application form, when applying for more than one course. They should also mention the choice of paper (General or Special) for each subject. Please note that Candidates who opt to take General and a Special paper can only write the General and one Special paper (inclusive of choices made in the application to MD/MS/Diplomas Selections). Eligibility: 1. 2. For Ph.D.:

(i) Master’s Degree in Humanities and Social Science/Management Science/ Science/ Engineering /Technology or Master’s Degree in allied subject with consistently good academic record and minimum 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA in the Master’s degree.

(ii) BE/ B. Tech with an aggregate of 80% marks or equivalent CGPA with GATE Score.

(iii) A fellowship in Chartered Accountancy/ Company Secretaryship from a recognized Indian or a foreign institution with not less than 60% or equivalent CGPA having a minimum of Bachelor’s degree.
