Applications are invited for admission to the following programmes:-

1. M.Sc.-Ph.D. combined degree in Biomedical Sciences (Full Time 4 Years Course)

Eligibility: For M.Sc. & M.Sc.-Ph.D. Combined:

Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Zoology/Botany/ Microbiology/ Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Environmental Biology/ Biotechnology/Laboratory Techniques/ B.Pharm/ B.V.Sc. or M.B.B.S. with at least 55% marks from University of Delhi or any other examination recognised by the University or equivalent thereto.

For Ph.D. Programme

Master’s Degree in the appropriate field of Science, M.Tech., M.V.Sc., M. Pharm or M.D. with a minimum of 55% marks or B.Tech, MBBS with 70%
and 60% marks or equivalent grades respectively. CSIR, UGC, ICMR NET qualified candidates are preferred.
Application procedure: The bulletin of Information along with Application form for all the above courses can be obtained from the office of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research, University of Delhi, North Campus, Delhi-110007 on all working days (Monday to Friday) from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm against Demand Draft of Rs. 800/- for General and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST.

If required by Post, send a Demand Draft of Rs. 850/- for General and Rs. 300/- for SC/ST. The draft should be made in favour of the “ Director, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research” and should be sent along with an application on plain paper including the name and address (with pin code) of the applicant , in block letters.

Note : Summer Undergraduate Research Programme (SURP) and Summer Out Reach Program (SOP) of 8 weeks duration is scheduled between June - July 2009. A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or its equivalent with atleast 50% marks in aggregate and post qualification experience of atleast 2 years (3 years in case of AMIE after diploma) in teaching/industry/research organization.

(iv) M.E. Computer Science and Engineering (for both Regular and Modular)

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering/Electronics Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/Instrumentation Engineering/ Information Technology from a recognized University or its equivalent with atleast 50% marks in aggregate and post qualification experience of atleast 2 years (3 years in case of AMIE/IETE after diploma) in teaching/industry/research organization.

(v) M.E. Instrumentation and Control (for both Regular and Modular) Programme

A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering/ Instrumentation and Control Engineering from a recognized University or its equivalent with atleast 50% marks in aggregate and post qualification experience of atleast 2 years (3 years in case of AMIE/IETE after diploma) in teaching/industry/research organization.

(vi) M.E. Electronics and Communication Engineering (for both Regular and Modular) Programme

A Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized University or its equivalent with atleast 50% marks in aggregate and post qualification experience of atleast 2 years (3 years in case of AMIE/IETE after diploma) in teaching/ industry/ research organization.

No experience is required for admission of general candidates to M. Tech/ME Programmes.

Application procedure: PROSPECTUS with application forms can be obtained (may also be downloaded from our website on or after 01.04.2009; such applications must accompany a demand draft of Rs. 500/-) from the Institute either on payment of Rs. 500/- or by sending a crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 550/- in favour of Director, NITTTR, Chandigarh along with a self addressed envelope of 25x20 cms.
