Punjab University MET 2011 - Management Entrance Test

Panjab University, Chandigarh one of the premier institutions of higher education in India, launched UIAMS at its campus in order to cater to the needs and aspirations of the fast expanding fields of globalized industry and management sciences by offering sectoral management programmes in specialized areas

The university will hold entrance test on Sunday, 27th March, 2011 from 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon

Pearl Academy of Fashion Entrance Exam 2011

 Pearl Academy of Fashion (PAF) will conduct entrance test for both Under Graduate (UG) and Post Graduate (PG) courses on May 22, 2011. Last date for receipt of application is May 14, 2011.

Admission Procedure

Tests for FMP, FRM

Candidates answer a 60-minute General Proficiency Test (GPT) in English language to demonstrate their proficiency in language (comprehension, vocabulary, and expression), basic arithmetic, logic etc. Successful candidates from the GPT are called for further screening through Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Tests for FD, TD, CD, JD, IAD & FSID

Candidates answer the General Proficiency Test (GPT) in English language to demonstrate their proficiency in language (comprehension, vocabulary and expression), basic arithmetic, logic etc. They thereafter appear in the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) which examines a candidate’s aptitude for creativity, drawing and communication skills.

Candidates who score above the cut-off score from GPT and DAT are called for Situational Test and Personal Interview. The Situational Test is a group activity in which you will have to collaborate with other candidates to implement a design brief with provided materials within a stipulated duration of time.

2. For Admission through Common Entrance Test into 1st year regular B.E./B.Tech. Courses in University Engineering Colleges for the seats specifically earmarked for Diploma holders,
3. For Lateral admission through Common Entrance Test into 2nd year regular B.Pharmacy Courses in both University and private un-Aided professional Institutions approved by Pharmacy Council of India,

for the academic year 2010-2011 to be conducted by the JNT University Hyderabad on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.24 Education (EC) Department, Dt. 18-03-2004, and its amendments.

The prescribed application form along with instruction booklet containing information regarding eligibility criteria, syllabi etc., for the common entrance test can be obtained in person on payment of Rs. 300/- from following designated Andhra Bank main branches: Hyderabad:- Saifabad, Khairatabad, Sanathnagar, Kachiguda,JNTU (Kukkatpalli). R.P.Road (Secunderabad), Hanumakonda, Warangal, Nizamabad, Adilabad, Manchirial, Karimnagar, Khammam, Kothagudem, Mahaboobnagar, Sangareddy, Nalgonda, Srikakulam, Vizainagaram, Bhimavaram, Tanuku, Eluru, Kakinada, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Maharanipet (Vizag), Gajuwaka (Vizag), Machilipatnam, Vijayawada, Eluru Road (Vijayawada), Guntur, Koretipadu(Guntur), Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, Chittoor, Tirupati, S.V.Arts College (Tirupati), Kurnool, Kadapa, Nandayal, Anantapur and Post Offices from 22.02.2010 to 30.04.2010 during counter working hours. The filled in application form with necessary enclosures can be submitted to the CONVENER, ECET [ FDH & B.Sc. (Maths) ]- 2010, ECET Office, Room No 305, Administrative Building, JNTUH Campus, JNT University Hyderabad, Kukatpally, Hyderabad-500085 in person or by Registered Post/Speed Post so as to reach him on or before 31.03.2010, 5.00 pm. without late fee. The late fee in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Secretary, APSCHE, Hyderabad must be enclosed to the filled in application form. After 30th April, 2010 the applications can be obtained from the ECET [ FDH & B.Sc. (Maths) ] - 2010 Convener's Office.
