Pune student tops GATE exam with 91.33%

Gokul R form Pune secured top rank in the country in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2011, the scholarship and admission test for post graduate engineering and sciences programs offered in Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). Gokul obtained 91.33% marks, in one of the toughest entrance tests in the country. More than 5 lakh students appeared for GATE 2011 for admission into ME, M.Tech and MS courses in India. Gokul is a member of the youth wing of the International society for Krishna Consciousness (Iskcon). He is now keen to take admission into IIT Madras for specialization in microelectronics.

JEE 2011 answer scripts to go online

NEW DELHI/KANPUR: IIT JEE 2011 answer scripts shall be uploaded online from this year. This shall facilitate the test takers in assessing weaker areas and to focus on them. Approximately, 4.85 lakh students shall appear for IIT JEE 2011 scheduled on 10 April 2011. The IIT JEE 2011 result shall be declared on 25 May 2011. The answer scripts shall be uploaded online after declaration of result JEE 2011. IIT Kanpur is administering authority for JEE 2011.

EAMCET 2011 Postponed, 22 May 2011 New Exam Date

EAMCET 2011: Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance now to be held on 22 May 2011, earlier exam date was May 5, 2011. The EAMCET authority takes the decision for shifting the exam dates because of assembly elections in the state.

IGRUA Entrance Exam 2011 Notification

ndira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi, also known as IGRUA, Fursatganj, Uttar Pradesh (UP), shall conduct IGRUA Entrance 2011 exam for selecting candidates for admission into Ground & Flying Training to Ab-initio Candidates for issue of a Commercial Pilot License with Multi-engine Endorsement & Instrument Rating with an Option for B.Sc. in Aviation degree course, offered in the ensuing session 2011-2012. The Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), Govt. of India (GOI), has entrusted the responsibility of conducting IGRUA Entrance 2011 to Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi, (IGRUA), Fursatganj for the academic year 2011-12.
