Eligibility Criteria

M Tech (Regular and Sponsored):

Computer Science & Engineering (CSE): B Tech/ BE in any engineering discipline OR M Sc in Mathematics, Statistics or a similar discipline OR MCA with (a) minimum marks/CPI in Qualifying Degree and (b) valid GATE score in Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology/ Mathematics/ Engineering Sciences (compulsorily with Sections Computational Science and Electrical Science) for regular students.

Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE): B Tech/ BE in Electronics/ Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering or a similar discipline OR M Sc in Electronics/ Electronics Science/ Physics/ Mathematics or a similar discipline with (a) minimum marks/CPI in Qualifying Degree and (b) valid GATE score in Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Physics for regular students.

Mechanical Engineering (ME): B Tech/ BE in Mechanical Engineering/ Aeronautical Engineering/ Automobile Engineering/ Production Engineering/ Industrial Engineering/ Production and Industrial Engineering/ Metallurgical Engineering/ Manufacturing Science and Engineering/ Energy Engineering or a similar discipline with (a) minimum marks/CPI in Qualifying Degree and (b) valid GATE score in Mechanical Engineering/Production and Industrial Engineering/ Metallurgical Engineering/Engineering Sciences (compulsorily with any two of the sections Fluid Mechanics, Materials Science, Solid Mechanics or Thermodynamics) for regular students.

Mechatronics: Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering/ Computer Science and Engineering are eligible for admission to this M.Tech. programme (a) minimum marks/CPI in Qualifying Degree and (b) valid GATE score in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering for regular students.

M Des (Regular and sponsored):

B.Tech/B.E./B.Arch./ B.Des./ BFA/ M.Sc./ M.A./ MCA with (a) minimum marks/CPI in Qualifying Degree and (b) valid CEED score for regular students.

Minimum marks/CPI in Qualifying Degree for M.Tech./M.Des.: 55% marks / 5.5 CPI (on a 10-point scale) as long as it is at least seven percent higher than the minimum pass marks /CPI for General Category applicants and minimum passing marks for SC/ST/OBC applicants.

PhD (Regular, Sponsored and External):

Computer Science & Engineering (CSE): M Tech/ ME in Computer Science & Engineering or Information Technology or a similar discipline with minimum marks/ CPI in Qualifying Degree.

Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE): M Tech/ ME in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline with minimum marks/ CPI in Qualifying Degree.

Mechanical Engineering (ME): M Tech / ME in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Production and Industrial Engineering or a similar discipline with minimum marks / CPI in Qualifying Degree.

Design(DS): M Des with minimum marks/ CPI in Qualifying Degree Minimum % of marks in Qualifying Degree for Ph.D.: 55% marks or CPI of 5.5 (on a 10-point scale) for General Category applicants and minimum passing marks for SC/ST/OBC applicants.

Filled up Application Forms along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 200/- for Gen and OBC & Rs.100/- for SC/ST category candidates, in favor of The Registrar, PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur, issued by any nationalized bank, payable at Jabalpur must be received latest by November 08, 2011 through Speed/ Registered Post only.

The envelop containing filled application form should superscribed with “Application for admission to (Programme name) and (discipline)”.

Applications are invited from Postgraduates in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences for PhD program, January 2012, currently affiliated to University of Kerala.

Eligibility Criteria

General category applicants must have First Class or above throughout and a valid Research Fellowship from UGC/ CSIR/ ICMR/ DBT or Eligibility for DST-INSPIRE and should be less than 28 years of age as on January 1 of 2012.

SC/ST candidates with a valid fellowship need to have only 50% marks, will be eligible for age relaxation as per rules, and are exempt from processing fees.

Fellow Programme in Management FPM 2012 – 2016

IIFM Bhopal FPM Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must not be more than 45 year as on 1st July 2011 and must qualify the following eligibility tracks :

1. A Bachelors Degree with atleast 50 percent marks, and

2. Masters degree (minimum two years prescribed duration after 10+2+3 years of formal education) in relevant discipline (relevancy has to be decided by the IIFM) with at least 55% marks including Five year/Four year Integrated masters Degree programme and with good academic records. (OR)

4 year/8 Semester B.Tech/ B.E with 60% Marks or Equivalent OGPA. (OR)

Professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS with atleast 55% marks. (OR)

For IIFM Graduates, who have done PGDFM and IIM graduates who have done PGDM, the minimum OGPA of 3.00 in 4.33 maximum scale, is required. (OR)

For MRM Post graduates from IIFM, with 3.00 CGPA.

Note: For those qualifications where the above 4.33 scale is not available, the eligibility will be decided by the Equivalence Committee constituted by the Director, IIFM and its decision will be final.

A demand draft for Rs.200 in favour of ‘Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal payable at Bhopal, should be sent with the filled in application form towards application fee.

Alternatively, The FPM application form and bulletin from IIFM will be despatched to the candidates soon after receiving their requests alongwith the required application fee. IIFM will not be responsible for any postal delay or loss. If a candidate, after having made a request to IIFM with the requisite money, does not receive the application form, she/he may enquire about it through Phone, Fax or E-mail.

Eligibility Criteria

A Candidate must have obtained the Kamile Tib o Jarahat (BUMS) degree or any other degree in Unani Medicine as recognized by CCIM and must have completed the 06 months/ 12 months internship/ house job as the case may be, on or before 30th September 2011.

The right of admission of any candidate, who has not completed the internship by 30th September 2011, stands automatically cancelled.

Application Form - How To Apply

A candidate must apply for admission on prescribed Application Form. Application Forms, Instructions and other details can be downloaded from the Institute’s website http://www.nium.in from 1st October 2011. Application forms will not be sent by post to the candidates.

1. Entrance Test Fees payment has to be made through Challan System (Form 1) in State Bank of India Branches.

2. The Challan can be downloaded from the Institute’s website or can be collected from Academic Section of the Institute

3. The receipt of the Challan for payment of requisite fees duly signed and sealed by the SBI Branch has to be attached along with the application form compulsorily.

4. In case of non attachment of the challan receipt against the payment of fee, the application is liable to be rejected.

5. The details of fees to be paid inclusive of Bank charges are as under:

OBC (belonging to the creamy layer): Rs.1025/-
