JEE Main 2013 Important Notice

Dear Candidates (JEE Main 2013),

You were advised by CBSE to submit your Class 12th Roll No before downloading admit card for JEE Main 2013. However many candidates made mistake and followed proper steps.


The CBSE issues a Public Notice regarding this. Now on test day you will be provided an authentic sheet to verify in the examination.

Please career following documents on JEE Main 2013 Test Day with you-


Candidates, who qualified in class 12th / qualifying Examination in 2011 or 2012, and have not opted for improvement of performance in 2013.

Copy of their Final marks- sheet/ marks statement of Class 12th /Qualifying Examination 
of year 2011 or 2012.


Candidates, who qualified in class 12th / qualifying Examination in 2011 or 2012, and have opted for improvement of performance in 2013 inall subjects.

Copy of their Admit card/Hall ticket for improvement of performance in Class 12th /Qualifying Examination 2013.

Candidates, who are appearing in class 12th / qualifying examination in 2013.

Copy of their Admit card/Hall ticket for class 12th/Qualifying Examination 2013.

Must carry JEE Main 2013 Admit Card with you.

IIT Roorkee Admission

Admission into various programs of IIT Roorkee are offered on the basis of various entrance examinations, interview, etc. Selection program is rigorous.

  • For under graduate courses JEE Advanced is the norm.
  • For M.Sc Courses JAM is considered. 
  • For management program CAT Score is requirement.
  • For M.Tech and PhD Programs GATE is criteria to apply.

Difference between JEE Main and JEE Advanced

JEE Main 2013 Score is compulsory for admission into NITs, IIITs and other government and private engineering, architecture, planning courses in national  level colleges and institutes in India. Qualification in JEE Main is also essential to apply for JEE Advanced 2013 on the basis of which candidates shall be admitted into first semester degree programs offered by IITs. Thus for admission into IITs now candidates have to qualify in 3 level of entrance test. Both JEE Advanced and JEE Main are objective type examinations. Here given a comparison between the two test. JEE Advanced Score is compulsory for admission into IITs under graduate programs both bachelor’s and integrated masters in sciences, engineering and technology.
