The IISER Thiruvananthpuram invites applications from highly qualified young scientists holding Ph.D in the areas of Biological, Chemical, Mathematical, and Physical Sciences / Engineering / Technology for the Institute Postdoctoral Fellowships commencing on 1 August 2014.


Duration: 2 Years with the possibility of extension to a third year based on performance.

Remuneration: Rs. 40000 (45000) per month for I and II (III) year
Contingency Grant: Rs. 75000/- per year

Application Form: How to apply for SRM University Admission 2014?

You can apply 1. online using Credit Card / Debit Card; 2. fill application online, download and courier with DD for Rs 900; 3. Buy application at lead branches of Axis bank, City Union Bank, Indian Bank, Karur Vysya Bank, Post Offices and the University Campuses.

Eligibility: Engineering

Pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with minimum 70% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry for all programs. For Biotechnology, Biomedical, Genetic Engineering, Minimum of 70% aggregate in Mathematics / Biology, Physics and Chemistry.

B.Arch- 70% aggregate in HSC and a Pass in NATA is essential.
