NDA & NA Examination (I) 2014 Written Results

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) New Delhi announced National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I) 2014 Result today. The merit list is prepared on the basis of Written Examination conducted by UPSC on 20 April 2014. The candidates who have qualified in NDA & NA Written Test (I) 2014 shall now undergo for Interview conducted by Service Selection Board (SSB)-Ministry of Defence.

The candidates who shall find place in NDA & NA Interview (I) 2014 Merit List shall be offered admission in the Army, Navy and Air Force Wings of the National Defence Academy for the 133rd Course and for the 95th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). The course shall start from from 2nd January, 2015.

1. Comparative Politics: Nature and major approaches; political economy and political sociology perspectives; limitations of the comparative method.
2. State in comparative perspective: Characteristics and changing nature of the State in capitalist and socialist economies, and, advanced industrial and developing societies.
3. Politics of Representation and Participation: Political parties, pressure groups and social movements in advanced industrial and developing societies.
4. Globalisation: Responses from developed and developing societies.
5. Approaches to the Study of International Relations: Idealist, Realist, Marxist, Functionalist and Systems theory.

Part: 1 History of Tamil Language
Major Indian Language Families-The place of Tamil among Indian languages in general and Dravidian in particular-Enumeration and Distribution of Dravidian languages.
The language of Sangam literature-The language of medieval Tamil: Pallava period only-Historical study of Nouns, Verbs, adjectives, adverbs Tense markers and case markers in Tamil.
Borrowing of words from other languages into Tamil-Regional and social dialects-difference between literary and spoken Tamil.
