Eligibility Criteria

A Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 45% aggregate marks (40% for candidates belonging to reserved Categories). Candidate final examination of Bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply.

Applications are invited for admission to Master of Nursing Course (2 years) commencing from 16th July, 2011

Eligibility Criteria

The Candidate must have passed the B.Sc. (H) Nursing Examination (12+4) years of the University of Delhi or a Degree recognized as equivalent thereto with at least 55% marks in the aggregate and completed one year experience in Nursing in a Hospital/Speciality Institute/ Educational Institution or Public Health/Agency. The experience will be calculated upto the 15th February, 2011.

Candidate from 11+4 years Nursing Degree Programme will require a minimum of Two years experience in Nursing.

Application Procedure

Prescribed application forms with prospectus for the Session 2011-12 can be obtained from R.A.K. College of Nursing, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi- 110024, on payment of Rs. 400/- by Postal Order/Bank Draft addressed to Principal, Raikumari Amrit Kaur College of Nursing, Laipat Nagar, New Delhi.

Students should apply on the application forms issued by the college for the session 2011-12. APPLICATION FORMS OF PREVIOUS YEARS WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED.

Prospectus with application form will be available from 3rd January, 2011. No prospectus will be supplied by post in case the request is received after 7th February, 2011 (Friday) but will be available by hand till 15th Feb., 2011 (Tuesday).

Applications are invited for admission to Six Months Certificate Course in Geriatric Care (Full Time) during November 2009 to June - 2010 - 30 seats for each Centre
Eligibility: i. Hlgh school/Matriculation or any other Examination equivalent to Secondary Examination after a period of 10 years study.

Preference will be given to candidates working as Old Age Care Givers, Health Workers, Counsellors, Social Workers, Home Care Workers, Nursing Assistant or in Age Care Agencies/Organisations.

Eligibility: 01. M.B.B.S. Degree Programmes:

Any candidate who is a Citizen of India with the following Academic Qualification can apply: Pass in Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) of Tamil Nadu with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually or an equivalent examination with

A) A minimum of 50% aggregate marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes are however eligible if they have 40% aggregate marks taken together in the Physics, Chemistry and Biology and have passed the examination in those subjects as well as in English.

02. B.D.S. Degree Programme:

Passed the H.Sc. Examination with a minimum of 50% of marks in each of the subject viz. Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany and Zoology put together) and English for all Categories.

Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes are however, eligible if they have 40% marks in the above subjects.

03. B.P.T. / 06. M.P.TH. Integrated Degree Programme:

A pass in H.Sc. (Academic) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Botany / Zoology and English Examination or equivalent examinations accepted by the Annamalai University.

04. B.Sc. (Nursing) Degree/08.Dlploma in General Nursing & Midwifery Programmes:

H.Sc. Exams (12 yrs. course) (or) Senior School Certificate exams. (10 + 2) Pre-degree exams. (10 + 2) (or) any equivalent with 12 yrs. Schooling
from a recognised Board or University with Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and English with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (PCBE) & For SC/ST: 40% of aggregate marks in PCBE. Unmarried Female Candidates only are Eligible.

Age Limit: For MBBS / BDS / BPT / M.P.TH. integrated the candidates should have completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December 2009. For B.Sc. (Nursing) and Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery programmes should have completed 17 years of Age and should not be over 30 years and for SC/ST: 35 Years of Age as on 31 .12.2009. No request for relaxation of the age will be entertained.

05. M.P.T. Degree Programme:

Candidates seeking admission into MPT Degree Programme must have acquired the B.P.T. Degree of Annamalai University (or) a Degree of any other University recognised as equivalent thereto by this University.

07. M.Sc. (Nursing) Degree Programme:

(i) Candidates seeking admission into M.Sc. (Nursing) Degree Programme must have passed B.Sc. (Nursing) / B.Sc. (Hons. Nursing) / Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) with minimum of 55% aggregate marks, (for SC /ST candidates minimum of 50% aggregate marks).

(ii) Candidate should have undergone B.Sc. (Nursing) / B.Sc. (Hons. Nursing) / Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) in an institution which is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council.

(iii) Minimum 1 year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. (Nursing).

(iv) Minimum 1 year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing).

(v) Candidates shall be Medically fit.

09 & 10 Certificate Programme in Dental Mechanics / Dental Hygienists:

A pass in Xth Std. with an aggregate of 50% marks along with pass in English language or an equivalent recognised qualification.

Age Limit: The candidates should have completed the age of 15 years as on 31st December 2009.
Application procedure: Application form and Prospectus can be obtained from THE REGISTRAR, ANNAMALAI UNIVERSITY, ANNAMALAINAGAR - 608 002 from the date scheduled above on payment of prescribed fee noted above in person or by sending a Demand Draft obtained on or after 24.04.2009 drawn in favour of THE REGISTRAR, ANNAMALAI UNIVERSITY, ANNAMALAINAGAR from ANY BANK, payable at CHENNAI along with self addressed stamped Thick Kraft envelope of size 30 cm x 24 cm (stamps affixed to the value of Rs. 30/-) with the name of the Programme for which the application is required should be super-scribed boldly on the envelope. The Name of the Programme should be clearly indicated in the requisition letter. The Name and Address of the Candidate and Programme for which the application is made should be clearly indicated on the back side of the Demand Draft also.
