6. B.Sc. Nursing (Post Certificate)
Eligibility: 1. M.Sc. Course in Anatomy, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Pharmacology, Physiology :- The candidate must possess a degree of M.B.B.S./ B.D.S. and have secured at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) or B.V.Sc./B.Pharma or B.Sc. degree course (3 years) with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).

2. M.Sc. Perfusion Technology and M.Sc. Nuclear Medicine Technology:-

i) M.Sc. Perfusion Technology :- B.Sc. with Biology or B.Sc. in Perfusion Technology from a recognized University with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST Candidates).

ii) M.Sc. Nuclear Medicine Technology :- B.Sc. in Nuclear Medicine or B.Sc. with Physics / Chemistry! Mathematics or B.Sc. in allied related subject i.e. Radio-diagnosis (MRT), Radiotherapy or B.Sc. in Life Sciences with Physics as a main subject from a recognized University with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST Candidates).

3. M. Biotechnology :- The candidate must possess a degree of M.B.B.S. / B.D.S. and have secured at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) or B.V.Sc. / B.Pharma or B.Sc. degree course (3 years) with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).

4. M.Sc. Nursing :- B.Sc.(Hons.)Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Certificate) / Post Basic from an educational Institution/University recognized by the Indian Nursing Council. Candidate must have secured at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) in the qualifying examination and is registered as Nurse/Midwife with any State Nurses Registration Council.

N.B.: A candidate is NOT allowed to submit more than one application for M.Sc. Courses.

5. B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing :- The candidate must have passed 12th class under 10+2 system or an equivalent examination with Physics,Chemistry, Biology and English securing not less than 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST candidates) in aggregate in these subjects. Only female candidates are eligible.

6. B.Sc. (Hons.) Para-Medical Courses :- The candidate must have passed 12th class under 10+2 system or an equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics securing not less than 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST) in aggregate in these subjects.
Application procedure: There is a common Prospectus-cum-Application Form for all the courses mentioned above (Only one application has to be submitted for the two Para-Medical courses). The Prospectus-cum-Application Form can be obtainedBY SPEED POST/ REGISTERED POST by sending a written request along with crossed BANK DRAFT for Rs.1050/- (Rs.850/- for SC/ST Category) in favour of "M.Sc./B.Sc. Entrance Examination - 2009" payable at New Delhi and it should be valid upto September 2009. Indian Postal Orders, Money Orders, Cheques or Cash will not be accepted for postal sale. The request should reach the Assistant Controller of Examinations, All India Institute of Medical Sciences,New Delhi-110 608 on or before 15th April, 2009.

The following words should be written on top of the envelope: " Request for Application Form for M.Sc./ B.Sc. Courses - 2009". The address at which Application Form is required should be written clearly in CAPITAL LETTERS and with PIN code.

AIIMS will not be responsible for delay / non-receipt of Application Form caused by illegible or incomplete address.

Prospectus-cum-Application Form costing Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 800/- in case of SC/ST candidates) can also be obtained against CASH PAYMENT from (i) SBI Parliament Street Branch, New Delhi, (ii) SBI Main Branch, M.G Road, Thiruvananthapuram, (iii) Park Street Branch, Kolkata, (iv) IIT Powai Branch, Mumbai, (v) M.G. Road Branch, Guwahati & (vl) Sultania Road Branch, Bhopal from 23rd March, 2009 to 15th April, 2009 and SBI AIIMS Campus Branch, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi from 23rd March, 2009 to 21st April, 2009.

IMPORIANT : (1) Candidates must obtain application forms ONLY from an authorised branch of SBI or by post from Examination Section of AIIMS. Forms obtained from an unauthorized source will be rejected. (2) Candidates are advised to procure application forms as early as possible.

If the Application Forms are sold out before the last date of sale and the same are not available, AIIMS/SBI Ansari Nagar or its specified branches will not be responsible for any consequences that may arise due to non-availability of forms. If a candidate does not get the form through Post Office in time, AIIMS will not be responsible for such lapses.
