Fees  of  Rs.100/  In  respect  of  following  candidates  for  Civil  Services  (Preliminary) Examination, 2014.

The application forms of those candidates are rejected whose Fees payment information has not received in the Commission's office.

If you believe that you have submitted the payment, the UPSC give you a chance to make APPEAL in this regard BEFORE 14 JULY 2014.

JEE Main 2014 AIR Declared: CSAB Registration 2014 Open Now.

The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) Registration Open Now for Centralized Counselling. Candidates who have found a place in JEE Main 2014 are suggested to register now. On the basis of CSAB CSAB Counselling 2014 seats will be offered in National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and other Government and Private Engineering and Technical Colleges associated with JEE Main 2014 for Admission into Under Graduate Engineering Degree Programs. The CBSE has announced JEE Main 2014 AIR on 8 July 2014.

Cell structure, function and cell cycle. Synthesis, structure and function of genetic material. Laws of heredity.
Chromosome structure, chromosomal aberrations, linkage and cross-over, and their significance in recombination breeding. Polyploidy, euploids and aneuploids.

Mutations - and their role in crop improvement. Heritability, sterility and incompatibility, classification and their application in crop improvement. Cytoplasmic inheritance, sex-linked, sex-influenced and sex-limited characters.

History of plant breeding. Modes of reproduction, selfing and crossing techniques. Origin, evolution and domestication of crop plants, center of origin, law of homologous series, crop genetic resources conservation
and utilization.
