The candidates for admission to PhD degree programme must have M.V.Sc degree in the concerned discipline with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or OGPA 7.00/10.00 or equivalent (55% marks or OGPA 6.45/10.00 or equivalent for S.C./S.T.).
(B). M.V.Sc. Degree Programme:
The candidates for admission to MVSc degree programme must have BVSc &AH degree in the concerned discipline with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or OGPA 6.50/10.00 or equivalent (55% marks or OGPA 6.00/ 10.00 or equivalent for S.C./S.T.).
(i) A good knowledge of English language.
(ii) Minimum age for admission into Ph.D. and M.V.Sc. shall be 23 years and 21 years, respectively. Normally there will be no upper age limit. The age shall be reckoned as on 1st September, 2008.
The candidates who have appeared in the Master’s degree examination in the year 2008 are also eligible to apply provisionally for admission but they will have to submit documentary proof of their successful completion of qualifying degree examination on the date of registration. However, the candidate will be required to submit documentary proof of his/her successful completion of course work including final OGPA duly signed by the competent authority at the time of interview positively.
