Eligibility: Basic Course is open to anyone interested to know about disaster management. Specialized Courses are offered to those who have completed the Basic Course or are having specialized qualifications or work experiences on subjects related to the Course themes.

Application procedure: Applications: Application can be made on plain paper stating name of the course, name of applicant, age, qualifications, experience, occupation, email id, telephone and postal address along with course fees in bank draft favouring Executive Director, NIDM payable at New Delhi.

Applications shall be addressed to Executive Director, National Institute of Disaster Management, IIPA Campus, IP Estate, Ring Road, New Delhi – 110 002 so as to reach at least 15 days in advance from the date of commencement of the course.

Admission to Ph.D. Programmes - (2009-2010)

Applications in the prescribed forms are invited for admission to Ph.D. programmes in the various disciplines of Agricultural Sciences.

Eligibility: Candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks OR an overall grade point average (OGPA) of 7.50 out of 10.00 OR 3.75 out of 5.00 OR 3.00 out of 4.00 OR 2.25 out of 3.00 (For SC/ST/PH candidates: 55% marks OR OGPA of 6.88 out of 10.00 OR 3.44 out of 5.00 OR 2.75 out of 4.00 OR 2.06 out of 3.00) in Masters Degree Programme.

In case of the universities where OGPA is awarded with equivalence of percentage marks only OGPA will be considered for determining the eligibility qualification for appearing in the entrance examination. The percentage of marks shall be considered only for those candidates coming from universities that do not award grades but award percentage of marks.

The candidates who have appeared in the Masters degree examination in the year 2009 are also eligible to apply provisionally for admission.
Application procedure: By hand: From (Syndicate Bank, Pusa Campus, New Delhi-110012 on payment of Rs.500/- in cash for General / OBC Category and Rs.250/- for /ST/PH categories ( + Rs.25/- as bank service charges).

By post: From Registrar (Academic), Post Graduate School, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi-110012, by sending a Demand Draft of Rs.575/- for General / OBC Category and Rs.325/- for SC/ST/PH category, drawn on any bank, in favour of Registrar (Academic), Post Graduate School, IARI, payable at Delhi.

Admission to the five year integrated B.A.LL.B, B.Sc. LL.B & B.B.A.LL.B (Hons.) - 2009

Eligibility: A candidate for admission to B.A.LL.B, B.Sc. LL.B & B.B.A.LL.B (Hons.) shall have:

Passed the 10+2 or equivalent in any stream with at least 50 % marks.

For B.Sc. LL.B (Hons.) candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent in the science stream with at least 55% marks; and

Not completed 21 years of age as on 1st July 2009.
Application procedure: Application for the admission test can be obtained from the University Counter and various designated branches of Allahabad Bank and Law School Tutorial (LST) centres free of cost.

The filled-in application form shall be returned by hand/post to the Admission Director, KIIT University, Koel Campus, Bhubaneswar- 751024 on or before 10th May, 2009. Candidates can also apply online by logging into www.kls.ac.in . Online applicants should send the printed filled in application form duly signed on or before 10th May, 2009.
