Application Procedure

To apply for admission to a programme, eligible candidates must complete the online application form and submit it.

Entrance Test Fee:

General Candidates

M.A./M.Sc. Programmes - Rs. 350/- only
Integrated Programmes - Rs. 400/- only

SC/ST/PWD Candidates

M.A./M.Sc. Programmes - Rs. 175/- only
Integrated Programmes - Rs. 200/- only

A Demand Draft drawn from any nationalized/scheduled bank in favour of “Central University of Punjab", payable at Bathinda should accompany the application form failing which the application will be rejected.

Write your name, application number and address on the back side of the demand draft.

The candidates will have to submit the online application form and send a printout of the completed online application form along with required enclosures (see section 14 How to Apply) and requisite fee by registered post to:

Eligibility Criteria

For MBA:

Graduate (10+2+3) in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate. Candidates of other graduate courses must have minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST)
marks in average in graduation, marks to be computed as average of marks obtained in ALL subjects in which candidate has app eared (excluding optional subjects).

At least one year's experience for working professional.

Fresh graduates without experience who have appeared in CAT 2010 and having valid CAT score may also apply.

For M.Tech.:

BE / B.Tech. in Computer Science / IT / Electronics Engg. / Electrical Engg . or equivalent / MCA / M .Sc. in Computer Science or Equivalent from a recognized University with Minimum 60% marks (50 % for
SC/ST) in aggregate.

At least one year's relevant work experience.

Fresher who fulfill academic qualification may also apply .

(one pasted on the form and one attached by clip to the form),and a crossed Demand Draft for Rs. 2,000/- (non-refundable) in favour of Birla Institute of Technology, payable at Jaipur/ Noida (for which he/she has applied), in a stout A4 size envelope by Speed post / Registered Post / reliable courier to the address of the Centre to which applied , as given below:

Application Procedure

Before filling the on-line application form, the candidate must ensure that - he/she met the eligibility criteria -the registration fee of Rs.400 / - is paid by way of either NEFT or DD., - scanned photograph of the candidate in .jpg/.jpeg format is ready. Please keep the above details along with academic details ready before filling the on-line application.

After completion of the on-line registration for CET, candidates are requested to write their Name, e-mail ID, mobile number and correspondence address on the back of either the NEFT Receipt issued by the bank or Demand Draft (DD)
