C-DAC announces admission to one year duration course for the students who wish to take up a promising career as Software Developer, Software Programmer, Software Tester, System Analyst and the like, in the domain of computing. Eligibility for DABC and DSSD Course:

An Engineering Degree (UG/PG) in Electronics / Electrical / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation / Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Engineering / Information Technology or MCA or M.Sc Computers with higher second class (55% and above) in the final degree

Eligibility for DESD Course:

Engineering Degree (UG/PG) in Electronics / Electrical / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation / Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Engineering / Information Technology or M.Sc Electronics / Instrumentation with higher second class (55% and above) in the final degree.
Application Procedure
Before filling the on-line application form, the candidate must ensure that - he/she met the eligibility criteria -the registration fee of Rs.400 / - is paid by way of either NEFT or DD., - scanned photograph of the candidate in .jpg/.jpeg format is ready. Please keep the above details along with academic details ready before filling the on-line application.

After completion of the on-line registration for CET, candidates are requested to write their Name, e-mail ID, mobile number and correspondence address on the back of either the NEFT Receipt issued by the bank or Demand Draft (DD)

Candidates have to send this either original NEFT Receipt or DD along with the printout of filled- in online application to the address given below:

C-DAC, Advanced Computing Training School





Post Graduate Diploma in Language Computing (PGDLC) is a 6-months Programme

Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Computer Arts (DACA) is a 24 weeks programme

Post Graduate Diploma in VLSI Design course is a 24 weeks programme

Eligibility: For PGDLC:

B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech./M.C.A./M.Sc.(Computer Science/IT) OR M.A. (Linguistics/ Applied Linguistics/ Language/Literature) OR B.A. (Language / Literature) with Diploma in Translation / Linguistics

For DACA:

10+2+3, 10+2+4, M.F.A., B.F.A., B.Arch, G.D. Arts, or other equivalent degree or diploma holders in the field of Advertising, Commercial Arts, Painting, Sculpture, Textile, Fashion Designing, Interior Decoration.

Students from other academic backgrounds having artistic inclination and creative abilities are also encouraged to do this course. But they must qualify through the Entrance Test and Interview. Applicants need to have basic knowledge of using computers.

For VLSI:

M Tech / B Tech / ME / BE in Electronics / Electrical /E&TC / Instrumentation / Computer Science / M.Sc (electronics). OR

Experienced electronic designers, developers, system integrators from electronic industry and R&D organizations.

Students who have appeared for final examinations of any of the above courses may also apply.

All applicants should possess a working knowledge of DOS or Windows or Unix environments.

Application procedure: C-DAC's application form for the Common Entrance Test (CET), is to be filled online at http://acts.cdac.in (recommended). The non-refundable registration fee of Rs.500/- (for online) for the CET is to be paid by DD drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of ‘C-DAC, ACTS’ payable at Pune.

Printed Application Forms along with the instruction sheet are also available free of cost at all the Training Centres offering the PG DLC course. Candidates can fill in the printed application form and attach a DD drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of “C-DAC, ACTS” payable at Pune of Rs.600/-(for manual only) towards registration fees for the CET along with a recent passport size photograph and submit the same at any of the training centres offering the DAC course or the same can be sent by speed post / courier only to the address mentioned above.

ADMISSION NOTICE – February 2010 BATCH

C-DAC announces admission to 24 weeks full-time advanced IT training programme.

1. Diploma in Advanced Computing (DAC)

2. PG Diploma in Wireless & Mobile Computing
Eligibility: For DAC: Engineering graduates, MCA, MCS (after B.Sc.), BCA, BCS Graduate

For PG: Engineering graduates or Science post graduates in Electronics, Telecommunication, Instrumentation and Computer Science

Application procedure: APPLICATION FORM IS COMMON FOR DAC AND WiMC COURSE

1. Candidate will Register online and then fill online Application Form.

2. Candidate is not required to select the course (DAC / WiMC) while filling in the application form.

3. Based on the eligibility candidate will be shown the name(s) of the courses for which is eligible for admission.

4. After showing the list of course(s), system will get the inclination of the candidate for getting admission to a particular course.

5. Candidate will enter the details of the DD of Registration fees of Rs.500/- for online and DD of Rs.600/- for manual application form to be sent to C-DAC, ACTS, Pune.

6. After receipt of the Registration fees at ACTS Pune, candidate needs to select CITY for appearing for the CET.

7. Based on the seats available at a particular centre on particular Date and slot, the Date, Centre and Slot shall be allocated to the candidate during CET

8. Candidate can print their admit card using login to ACTS web site for CET # 1 and June 23, 2009 for CET # 2
