CSIR Diamond Jubilee Technology Award 2012

The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) invites applications for CSIR Diamond Jubilee Technology Award 2012. The award carries cash reward of Rs 10 lakh. Eligibility criteria for application for nomination is-

Any Indian Team comprising members of Indian citizenship; or any company / organization with more than 50% of its shares owned by Indian citizens or entities. Technology should have originated in India or if it has developed elsewhere, it should have significant Indian component.

Criteria- A technology that:
Creates a new market or significantly contributes to development of existing market and has benefitted large cross section of users and consumers.

Competes successfully in International market in terms of novelty, price, quality, functionality and reliability.

Helps raise capital and enhances brand equity or image of company / organization.

Promotes employment in the country.

Contributes to benefit of the community in general by raising the standards of quality of life.

IIM Indore PGP Admission 2012

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore invites applications for admission into 2-year Post Graduate Program in Management offered at Ras Al Khaima campus, UAE. The program will start in September 2012. Admission is open to all Indian Nationals, NRIs and Foreign Nationals. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for this program is mentioned below-

1. Bachelor degree in any stream with CGPA 6 at scale or 10 or 50% marks in aggregate.

2. CAT 2011 Score overall percentile 85.00 or GMAT Score overall score of 600; only GMAT score obtained between January 1, 2011 and June 15, 2012 is valid.

Application Fee: Candidates having CAT 2011 score do not require to pay any fees. For candidates applying with GMAT Score US $200 required.

Fordee Institute of Design Admission 2012

The Fordee Institute of Design invites aplication forms form Common Foundation Program begining July 2012. Minimum qualification to join this program is Class 12th. Students who have appeared for Class 12th Board and awaiting result can apply. Admission to this program will be made on the basis of entrance exam and interview.
