INDO-US Research Fellowship for Indian Researchers 2013

The Indo-US Research Fellowship is a fellowship program to attract young Indian researchers to undertake research work in leading areas of various sciences and technology at best institutes of United States of America (USA). The program is offered in association with the Indo-US Science and Technology Forum
(IUSSTF) and Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) of Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.

Who is eligible?

Candidates who satisfy following mentioned eligibility requirements are eligible to apply for Indo-US Research Fellowship-

Academic Qualifications- PhD in Science, Engineering, Technology or Medicine. Applicants must provide proof of independent work in internationally recognized academic journals.

Age Limit:- Upto 40 years as on 31 December 2012

Employment: - A Permanent Position in a public funded R&D lab/ S&T institution (non-private)/ recognized university/colleges in India.

Place of Work - The applicant should have letter of acceptance from reputed US scientific/ technological institution where the applicant will be undertaking the research work under the Fellowship.

Revised Dates for Submission of Filled-in-Forms & the Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (PGMEE)-2013.

In continuation to HIHT’s earlier advertisement dated 20th December, 2012 and 3rd January, 2013, it is hereby notified that the last date for submission for duly filled in application forms and the date of Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (PGMEE)-2013 has been revised
as under:-

Last Date for Submission of Application Form (Revised) : 20th February 2013 (Wednesday)
Date of Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (PGMEE)-2013 - 10th March 2013 (Sunday)

(Declare of result and the entire admission process will be subject to the final orders of the Honorable Supreme court of India)

AICTE Special Scholarship Scheme 2013 to Jammu and Kashmir Students studying outside the home state

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is the administering authority for technical education in India. It’s a statutory body of the Government of India.

Under the special Scholarship scheme of MHRD, GOI, domicile of Jammu and Kashmir who have passed class XII from J & K and admitted to various institutions outside J & K
which are duly approved by appropriate Regulatory bodies like AICTE, MCI, DCI etc. and affiliated to legitimate Universities are hereby informed that they shall fill, in full, the online application form available at http://aicte-jk-scholarship.in/, Or www.aicte-india.org.

Admissions starting from 5th February 2013 and ending on 18th February 2013 to enable the processing of the same and release of scholarship amount to the eligible candidates.

Note: - Candidates who have already submitted manual application for scholarship have also to apply for their application to be processed for disbursement scholarship.
