The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi has extended last for submitting application form for Ph.D 2013 Admission till April 25, 2013

The IPU Research Aptitude Test (RAT) for Ph.D Admission will be held on 12.05.2013 

IPU Research Aptitude Test (RAT) Examination Pattern

There shall be two sections in IPU RAT-

Section I - Duration 1 Hour - Maximum Marks 200: This sections is General Aptitude Test (GAT). All questions Multiple Choice Type.


Section II- Duration 2 Hour - Maximum Marks 400: This is Subject Specific Test containing Multiple Choice Questions. However, for candidates applying for research program in University School of Humanities & Social Sciences (USHSS) 50% Questions will be objective type and remaining 50% Subjective Type.


For University School of Medicine & Para Medical Health Sciences (USMPMHS), Research
Aptitude Test (RAT) will be of 3 hours with both sections of General Aptitude Test (GAT) (Multiple
Choice Questions only).

In all University School of Studies (USS) except USMPMHS Section – I is a qualifying test and
short-listing of candidates will be based on marks secured in Section – II.

The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview and final merit list will be prepared on the
basis of marks secured in section – II and interview (except USMPMHS). Both will have equal
weightage. RAT has to be conducted by GGSIP University. Codes for USS/ Subject Specific
Discipline and syllabii for different Subject Specific Tests as given in Annexure – I & II are available
on the University Website: http://www.ipu.ac.in.

Original documents related to educational qualification will be verified at the time of interview.
A candidate working in an organization/institute shall produce "no objection certificate" from the employer at the time of interview.

HSC Judicial Branch Preliminary Exam 2012

Haryana Public Service Commission - HPSC - Panchkula


It is announced for thr general information of the candidates who have applied in response to Advertisement No. 03 / 2012 published on 17.12.2012 in various News Papers, that the HCS (JUDICIAL BRANCH) Preliminary Examination - 2012 will be held on 17th march, 2013 from 12.00 (Noon) to 02.00 P.M. at Panchkula & Chandigarh.


The Admit Cards will be dispatched in the last week of February, 2013 to the individual candidate.

If any candidate does not receive his/her Admit Card upto 14.03.2013, he/she may contact the Commission's office personally on 15th and 16th March, 2013 during the office hours for duplicate Admit Card.

Main Examination is likely to be held from 25.05.2013 to 27.05.2013 for which Admits Cards will be sent separately.

It is made clear that admission to this Examination is provisional and subject to the fulfillment of eligibility conditions and correctness of facts submitted by the candidates in their application forms.

The Candidates who find any error i.e. Wrong entry of Name, Category, Date of Birth etc. in their Admits Cards, may contact the Commission's office on 15th and 16th March, 2013 for necessary rectifications.

Note:- A Physically Handicapped (Partially Blind) candidates who wants the help of scribe for writing his/her paper may apply to the commission for seeking permission of having a scribe atleast 10 days before the Preliminary Examination. INDO-US Research Fellowship for Indian Researchers 2013


The Indo-US Research Fellowship is a fellowship program to attract young Indian researchers to undertake research work in leading areas of various sciences and technology at best institutes of United States of America (USA). The program is offered in association with the Indo-US Science and Technology Forum

Who is eligible?

AICTE Special Scholarship Scheme 2013 to Jammu and Kashmir Students studying outside the home state

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is the administering authority for technical education in India. It’s a statutory body of the Government of India.

Under the special Scholarship scheme of MHRD, GOI, domicile of Jammu and Kashmir who have passed class XII from J & K and admitted to various institutions outside J & K

The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is one of the top universities in India based in national capital New Delhi.
