The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University MBBS/BDS/PG Medical Admission 2013 are now subject to qualification in NEET. Candidates interested in joining GGSIP University in VMMC and PGIMER, Dr. RML Hospital in above medical programs must submit NEET 2013 Score and NEET 2013 Registration No to GGSIPU New Delhi for Counseling / Admission 2013.

However, admission to Bachelor of Ayurveda Sciences, Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery courses of IP University will be made on the basis of IPU CET 2013.

IP University PhD Application 2013 Last Date Extended

The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi has extended last for submitting application form for Ph.D 2013 Admission till April 25, 2013

The IPU Research Aptitude Test (RAT) for Ph.D Admission will be held on 12.05.2013 

IPU Research Aptitude Test (RAT) Examination Pattern

There shall be two sections in IPU RAT-

Section I - Duration 1 Hour - Maximum Marks 200: This sections is General Aptitude Test (GAT). All questions Multiple Choice Type.


Section II- Duration 2 Hour - Maximum Marks 400: This is Subject Specific Test containing Multiple Choice Questions. However, for candidates applying for research program in University School of Humanities & Social Sciences (USHSS) 50% Questions will be objective type and remaining 50% Subjective Type.


For University School of Medicine & Para Medical Health Sciences (USMPMHS), Research
Aptitude Test (RAT) will be of 3 hours with both sections of General Aptitude Test (GAT) (Multiple
Choice Questions only).

In all University School of Studies (USS) except USMPMHS Section – I is a qualifying test and
short-listing of candidates will be based on marks secured in Section – II.

The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview and final merit list will be prepared on the
basis of marks secured in section – II and interview (except USMPMHS). Both will have equal
weightage. RAT has to be conducted by GGSIP University. Codes for USS/ Subject Specific
Discipline and syllabii for different Subject Specific Tests as given in Annexure – I & II are available
on the University Website: http://www.ipu.ac.in.

Original documents related to educational qualification will be verified at the time of interview.
A candidate working in an organization/institute shall produce "no objection certificate" from the employer at the time of interview.
