UP Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association is conducting UP Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test (UPPGMET-2014)  & UP Combined Medical Entrance Test (UPCMET-2014) as per the guidelines of  Hon’ble Court & Hon’ble Apex Court for admission to the First Year of PG Programmes: MD/MS/Post Graduate Diploma (3 Year Course) and Admission in MBBS Ist Year for academic year 2014-15 respectively in (Unaided Minority as well as Non-Minority) Member Medical Colleges of Uttar Pradesh**.

Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences (DIPAS) invites applications for its Ph.D Programme

Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences (DIPAS), provides an excellent opportunity for young and motivated researchers to pursue a career in Basic and Applied Life Sciences research. DIPAS endeavors in optimizing human performance under extreme operational environments using physiological, biochemical, nutritional and ergonomic approach. The labs are equipped with state-of-art facilities to conduct human studies, animal and in-vitro experimentation with an inter-disciplinary approach. Cutting-edge technology (Micro-Array Facilities, MALDI-TOF, Human Decomposition Chamber, CAD, Bio-informatics and Nanotechnology) at the institute encompasses broad interdisciplinary areas- Physiology; Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology and Organic Chemistry/Phytochemistry.


Applications are invited from young and motivated candidates with CSIR/UGC/ICMR/DBT/DST fellowships for the post of Junior Research Fellows to work in ongoing and future research projects at DIPAS.

Minimum Qualification: M.Sc in Life Sciences (Physiology/Biochemistry/Biomedical Sciences / Biotechnology) and Organic Chemistry.
CSIR/UGC/ICMR/DBT/DST qualified only (with fellowship validity upto December 2014)

Ph.D Programme: Selected candidates may be registered for Ph.D Programme.

Age: For Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) minimum 28 years, as on last date for receipt of application (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC as per government rules).

Application Procedure: Eligible candidates should send their duly completed application form before 1.11.2013 till 17:00 hrs. Eligible candidates can appear for a walk-in-interview at 10:00 hrs on 12.11.2013 at DIPAS, Lucknow Road, Timarpur, Delhi-110054

Travel Allowances (TA) will not be admissible for the Interview.

Candidates will be required to produce certificates / testimonials in original at the time of interview.

Admission shall not be claimed by any candidate as a mater of right. The admission shall be entirely at the discretion of the Selection Committee of the Institute which may refuse to admit candidate without assigning any reason thereof. Number of seats for JRF may increase of decrease without prior notice.
