AIPGMEE 2014-National Board of Examinations

AIPGMEE 2014 for admission to MD/MS/Post Graduate Diploma Courses Admission Session 2014

AIPGMEE is the eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to All India 50% quota of MD/MS/Diploma Seats-2014 Admission Session (Except Jammu & Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh).


The National Board of Examination has been notified by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India to conduct a competitive entrance examination on all India basis for admission to All India 50% Quota MD/MS/Diploma Seats-2014 Admission Session (except for colleges located in Jammu & Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh).

The State Government of Haryana, Punjab, Chhattisgarh and University of Delhi shall utilize the results of AIPGMEE 2014 for admission to MD/MS/Diploma courses at colleges under their control. These states shall not be conducting an entrance examination of their own.
Admission to MD/MS/Diploma Courses at institutes under Armed Forces Medical Services shall also be made on the basis of results of AIPGMEE 2014.

The AIPGMEE shall be conducted as Computer Based Test (CBT) from 25 November 2013 to 6 December 2013 (with 26 and 29 November; 1 and 4 December as No-Testing Days) at 70 Test Centers located at 38 cities across the country.

Eligibility Criteria for AIPGMEE 2014: Candidates who are in possession of MBBS Degree / Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate from an Institute (except Colleges/Universities located in Jammu & Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh) recognized as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act and possess permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS Qualification issued by the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council and have completed 1 Year of Internship or likely to complete on or before 31 March 2014 may apply for AIPGMEE through online application system at www.nbe.gov.in

Banaras Hindu University (BHU): PMT 2011

Admission for MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ B.Pharm courses 2011

Eligibility Criteria

Passed Intermediate / 10+2 or equivalent examination in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology + Botany) taken together;

(i) For MBBS/BDS/BAMS – a minimum of 50% marks for General and 45% for General-PC candidates and 40% marks for OBC/ SC/ ST and respective PC candidates;

(ii) For B.Pharm. – a minimum of 60% marks for General / OBC and respective PC candidates and 55% marks for SC/ST and respective PC candidates.

Candidates appearing in qualifying examination may also apply.

AGE: Completed 17 years but not crossed 25 years as on 31st December, 2011 (Candidates born after 1st January, 1995 and on or before 31st December, 1986 need not apply).

The request for application form must include the name and address of the candidate, and full particulars of the enclosed DD/BC (write candidate’s name and address on the back of DD). Two self-addressed, preferably typed, white paper slips of 10 cm X 6 cm size must also accompany it.

The requisition for PMT Application Form should be superscribed “Request for Application Form for PMT-2011, BHU”. Last date of requisition for PMT form by post is 21.02.2011.

Incomplete/non-cashable Draft (under amount/unsigned/ without Bank Code No. & Seal) shall not be accepted.

Transaction Processing following rates will he payable to the Bank (Only for On-line Applications)

2. Visa & MasterCard, Credit /Debit Cards and Net Banking: 2.5% of Transaction amount

3. On Cash through challan at any Branch of State Bank of India: Rs. 25/- (or as applicable)

B) Off-line : The Prospectus-cum-Application Form can also be obtained by Speed Post / Registered Post by sending a written request with an account payee Bank Draft of Rs.1000/- (Rs.850/- for SC/ST candidates) in favour of 'Account Officer (Exams), AIIMS payable at New Delhi. The Bank Draft should be valid upto July/ August 2010.

The name of the course applied for must be written on reverse of Demand Draft along with candidates name. The request must reach the Assistant Controller of Examinations, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Ansari Nagar. New Delhi- 110608 on or before 15.03.2010.

Money Order / Cheque / Postal Order / Cash or any other form of payment will NOT be accepted for postal sale. The words "REQUEST FORAPPLICATION FORM FOR MBBS ENTRANCE EXAMINATION 2010" should be written on the envelope containing request for application form, and also on top of the request letter. Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune





MBBS Course – 2010

Eligibility: Applications are invited for admission to the MBBS course at Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, commencing from 02 Aug 2010. Total 130 candidates (including a maximum of 25 girls) will be selected. All the 105 boys and 25 girls admitted to Armed Forces Medical College, Pune have compulsory liability to serve as commissioned officers in the Armed Forces Medical Services on graduation. The type of commission will depend upon the vacancies available and merit-cum-option at the final MBBS examination. The liability of the Short Service Commission (SSC) officers passing out of AFMC to serve the Armed Forces Medical Services would be seven (7) years. All candidates admitted to the college are required to execute a bond to this effect for an amount of Rs. 15 lacs (Rupees Fifteen lacs) at the time of joining the college. Students removed from service liability due to any reason will have to pay the bond money as per conditions laid down by Govt of India.

Ten seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates who also have similar service liability and have to fulfil the requirements of medical fitness, age, educational qualification and qualifying the entranceexamination as per details given in the prospectus.

SPECIAL CONCESSIONS: The Govt will provide free accommodation and entitled rations, subsidised messing, AC 3 Tier free railway warrant from college to home and back during vacations, a book subsidy of Rs. 12,000/- during entire training period, uniform allowance of Rs. 6000/- per student during first year and Rs.1250/- per year as maintenance allowance in subsequent years and any other misc allowances as applicable.

All candidates should be medically fit as per laid down standards for the Armed Forces.

Only unmarried candidates are eligible. Marriage during the course is not permitted. The college is fully and compulsorily residential both for boys and girls.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Applicants must have passed the XII standard/pre-professional/premedical examination or equivalent examination of statutory Indian University/Board or any other recognized Board/University as a regular student in all the subjects opted for in FIRST ATTEMPT with the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology securing not less than 60% of aggregate marks in the three science subjects taken together, not less than 50% marks in each of the science subjects and not less than 50% marks in English. Theymust have also passed an examination in Mathematics at least of the matriculation standard. A graduate of B.Sc. examination with not less than two of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany or Zoology) and also must have passed the earlier qualifying examination i.e. XII standard/Pre professional (Med) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and obtained marks as stated above. NOTE (a)Candidates who are to appear in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) upto 01 May 2010 may also appear for the
test provisionally. (b) The following categories of students are NOT

ELIGIBLE to apply:- (i) Candidates who have passed in Domestic Science, Domestic Arithmetic, Lower Maths separately or in combination with other subjects like General Science, Social studies in High School/Higher Secondary (Multi Purpose) or equivalentexamination (ii) Candidates who have passed only Pre-University/Pre-Degree (one year course) or Pre-Professional in Agriculture/Veterinary/Dental Examination (iii) Candidates who have passed the Pre-Professional or equivalent qualifying examination
as private candidates.

AGE LIMIT: Must have attained the age of 17 years on 31 December 2010 but must NOT have attained the age of 22 years on the date i.e. not born earlier than 01 January 1989 and not later than 31 December 1993, if the academic qualification of the candidate is 10+2 or equivalent. A candidate who has passed B.Sc. examination or will be appearing in final B.Sc. examination and seeks admission, he/she must not have attained the age of 24 years on 31 December 2010 i.e. must have been born not earlier than 01 January 1987.
Application procedure: Prospectus and application forms can be purchased for Rs. 250/- in cash at the General/Head/Central/Main Post Offices located at the mentioned places from 21 Dec 2009 till stocks last or 29 January 2010 WHICHEVER IS EARLIER.

Note: While purchasing prospectus from above HPOs/GPOs candidates must ensure that they have received one copy of the Application Form also. Demand draft is NOT required to be sent alongwith these applications. Prospectus and application forms can also be obtained by post from Officer-in-Charge (Admission Cell), Armed ForcesMedical College , Sholapur Road, Pune- 411 040 on payment of Rs. 250/- per copy, only by Bank Draft on any nationalized bank payable at Pune in favour of “Commandant, AFMC, Pune”, along with full postal address ofthe candidate on two separate slips of paper (size 9 cms x 5 cms). Please ensure that the Demand Draft bears the code number of the issuing bank.The candidate must write his/her name & address on
the back of the Demand Draft. The candidate should enclose an application for obtaining prospectus and application form giving his/her particulars and address and enclose a self addressed envelope of 11” X 13” size and affix postage stamp of Rs. 55/-. Bank Drafts on any other banks other than nationalized banks,Money Orders, Cash or Postal Orders will not be accepted. Each request should be accompanied by a separate demand draft. Combined demand draft for more than one application will not be accepted. Request for prospectus to be sent by post will be accepted from 21 Dec 2009 to 19 Jan 2010 upto 4 pm only.

Application form and prospectus can also be downloaded from www.afmc.nic.in from 21 Dec 2009 to 29 January 2010. Such forms, printed on A4 size glossy paper, duly completed in all respect alongwith a Crossed Demand Draft for a sum of Rs 250/- drawn in favour of “Commandant AFMC, Pune” on any nationalized bank payable at Pune be forwarded to AFMC Pune, so as to reach there not later than 05 Feb 2010 at 4 PM.The candidate must write his/her name & address on the back of the Demand Draft.

Applications are invited on prescribed form for admission to MBBS course starting from 1st July 2010.
Eligibility: The candidate must attain 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission. The Candidate must have passed 12th standard examination under 10+2 system or Maharashtra State Higher Secondary Education Board or equivalent examination of any recognized Board or any Indian University with English, Physics. Chemistry and Biology individually in each subject in one and the same attempt.The candidate must have obtained minimum 50% marks (40% in the case of SC / ST/ VJ/ NT/ OBC) taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Those students who are going to appear in 10+2 Higher Secondary Board Examination in March / April 2010 are also eligible to appear in the competitive Entrance Examination.
Application procedure: The Prospectus and Application Form with syllabus, question papers of Gandhian thought for the last 5 years with model question papers of Physics Chemistry and Biology can be had from the office of the Dean by remitting a sum of Rs. 1050/- (Rs.1000 + Rs. 50 as postal charges) only by Money order in favour of the Dean, Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sevagram, District Wardha -442102 or by paying Rs. 1000/- in cash at the college counter.

Candidates must write their full address in capital letters and phone number on the ”space for Communication and the space for senders address on the money order form.

Rajasthan Ayurved University announces schedule for conduct of Joint Entrance Test 2009.

Following are the details-

Date of exam: June, 24, 2009

Date of Submission of application form: 5.00 pm on 26th May, 2009, Tuesday

Eligibility:
1 The Students should have completed 17 years of age on 31-12-09

2 Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination (Science Bio Group) at the Rajasthan Board of

Secondary Education or equivalent there to is eligible for admission

3. For admission to Ayurved & Unani Faculties, the candidate must have obtained at least 50%

average marks in the subject of Physics, Chemistry & Biology.

4. The candidates who have appeared this year at 10+2 examination with science Biology subject

may also apply for admission but his candidature will be considered only after submitting his

10+2 passed out mark sheet with requisite 50% marks in Science- Bio Group.

5. For admission to the Unani Faculty the candidate should have Urdu subject in 10th class or he

must have passed Adib, Adib-e-Mahir or Adib-e-Kamil from Jamia Hamdard, Aligarh along with above

said 10+2 qualification.

Application procedure:
Applications forms can be obtained by depositing cash @ Rs. 450/- (for the SC & ST candidates)

and @ 900/- for the General & OBC Candidates from the following branches of The Bank of Rajasthan

Ltd From 27th April 2009. :

must be drawn in the name of “Registrar, Rajasthan Ayurved University, Jodhpur”, otherwise the

form is liable to be rejected.

The candidate of SC/ST categories must enclose their caste certificate with the Application Form,

otherwise the form will not be considered.

Courses : On the basis of entrance examination admission shall be offered in

Ayurved/Homoeopathic/Unani courses

Applications are invited from Non-residence Indians (NRIs) for admission into MBBS/BDS courses in

Govt. Autonomous Medical/Dental College of the State of Madhya Pradesh.

Eligibility:

1. The candidate should have passed with minimum 50% of aggregate marks in qualifying examination

of 12th Standard (10+2 stream) in Physics, Chemistry & Biology Subject or equivalent examination

thereof.

The proof/certificate must give particular of the subject and also the percentage of marks

obtained/grade awarded in the examination. Grades should indicate equivalent percentage.

2. The candidates who have passed their examination from out side India, will have to produce

equivalent certificate from Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. Candidate should have

passed English as a language at 12th Standard exam.

3. Preference will be given to NRI belonging to state of Madhya Pradesh.

4. Candidates should be NRI or Children of NRI/ “wards" of NRI.

5. The candidate should complete 17 year of age as on 31th Dec. 2009.

Fees:

a. Tuition fees US$ 12,000 per year or equivalent Indian Rupees.
b. Hostel fee Rs. 10000/- per year or equivalent USS
c. Caution Money US $3000 or equivalent Indian Rupees (Same amount will be refunded in Indian

Rupees after completion of course)
d. Student fund US $ 100 or equivalent in Indian rupees.
e. Security deposit US $ 1000 or equivalent Indian rupees (Same amount will be refunded in Indian

Rupees after completion of course) •
f. Other fee as per rule of concerned university/college.

Candidate has to deposit tuition & other fee at the time of admission and fees is to be paid in

one installment every year as per rule in the concerned college.

No change of college will be permitted to NRI candidates after admission.

Application can be downloaded from web site www.mp.nic.in/medicaleducation Candidate has to

submit application on the prescribed form along with bank draft of Rs. 1000/- in the name of

Director, Medical Education, Bhopal payable at Bhopal.

Application should reach in the office of the Director of Medical Education, Govt. of M.P.,

Satpura Bhavan, 6th Floor, Bhopal latest by 25.06.2009. Applications received after the last date

will not be considered.

Counseling (Scrutiny & Allotment):

Scrutiny & allotment of seats through counseling will be done based on merit list prepared on the

basis of marks obtained in 10+2 or equivalent examination. If any seats remain vacant after

counseling for NRI Seats, such seats will be converted as per the existing reservation criteria

and added in to PMT counseling for which the counseling is to be held which will be notified

separately. The candidate has to deposit Rs. 1000/- as counseling charges at the time of

counseling.
