The GD Goenka School of Fashion Design (SOFD) will conduct DAT 2013 Design Aptitude Test for admission into following undergraduate programmes / courses-

UG Programmes - BSc Communication Design, B.Sc Jewellery Design, B.Sc Knitwear Design, B.Sc Fashion Design, B.Sc Interior Design, B.Sc Product Design

Integrated UG+PG Dual Degree Programmes- BSc+M.Sc Fashion Design, B.Sc+M.Sc Communication Design, B.Sc+M.Sc Interior Design, B.Sc+M.Sc Product Design

Eligibility Criteria for appearing in DAT 2013

Candidates who have completed Class 12 or equivalent qualification with any of the Board or University in any stream with minimum 50% marks are eligible to apply.

DAT 2013 Test Dates 

The GD Goenka School of Fashion Design (SOFD) is organizing DAT 2013 on following schedules-

Date – June 6, 2013, Test timings 2 Pm to 5 Pm, Test Centers – Delhi & NCR Only

Test Date June 7, 2013, Test Timing 10 am to 1 pm, Test Centers All Other Test Centers.

Registration for DAT 2013 (DAT 2013 Application Form) – How to apply?

DAT 2013 application forms can be downloaded from www.gdgoenka.com/schoolofdesign or procured from GD Goenka Campus on Sohana Road.

Completed application form alongwith DD of Rs 1000/- drawn in Favor of GD Goenka University, payable at Delhi, may be mailed / couriered to Director Admission, GD Goenka University, N – 86, Connaught Place, New Delhi – 110001.

Admit cards will be mailed to you on your email id.

DAT 2013 Last Date- Last date for submission of application form is May 25, 2013 bu courier and June 4, 2013 in person.

DA IICT PG Admission 2013-14

The Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar, invites applications for admission into following programs beginning July 2013

Minimum Marks Criteria- A minimum 60% marks is required in qualifying examination except for M.Des program for which minimum marks criteria is 55%

DA-IICT PG Selection Procedure

Admission to M.Tech program will be based on Valid GATE Score and other programs through entrance test and /or interview at select cities.

DAIICT PG Admission Application Form 2013

You can apply Online / Offline. For online application fee is Rs 1000/- and for offline Fee is Rs 1100/- (download, fill and submit) the form. Draw the DD in favor of DA-IICT payble at Ahmedabad, write your name and application no at its back and send it to DA-IICT by Courier / Speed Post.

Last Date for submission of DA IICT PG application form is May 24, 2013

Teaching Assistantship and Fellowship

Candidates admitted to M.Tech and Ph.D programs would be eligible for teaching assistantships of Rs 8500 and fellowship of upto Rs 25000 per month respectively.

Eligibility Criteria

Under Graduate Programs: Must clear/have cleared 12th Board Exam by 30th June 2011

Post Graduate Programs: Recognized degree or diploma in architecture, design, fashion, fine & applied arts B.Sc. Home Science in Textiles & Clothing.

Graduate from any discipline with experience of working in craft sector/ NGO having a creative aptitude.

Artisan’s child/ward having 5 years craft experience after clearing 12th Board exam.

Application Procedure

The selection process consists of multiple steps. The selection process consists of a national level entrance aptitude test, material test and interview. The selection panel is of professionals from craft/design sector.

The Institute does not recommend any specific book/course for preparation nor subscribes to any entrance coaching Institute.

The Institute follows a method of selection which focuses on the aptitude of the candidate who thinks laterally, is able to develop alternative approaches to deal with complex situations.

Tolerance towards ambiguity, versatility and ability to handle variables are some of the essential attitudes expected.
