Swami Rama Himalayan University

Pre Medial Entrance Examination (PMEE) 2014

Swami Rama Himalayan University invites applications from eligible candidates for admission into Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course offered by Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences for the academic year 2014-15. Total No of seats available is 150 out of which 40% i.e. 60 seats are earmarked exclusively for the permanent resident candidates of Uttarakhand. Out of these 60 seats, 25 seats are to be filled by Uttarakhand. The remaining 125 seats shall be filled through PMEE-2014.

Eligibility Criteria

Age: Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or before 31 December 1997 (minimum 17 years as on 31 December 2014) are eligible to apply. The upper age limit shall be 25 years as on 31 December 2014.

Minimum Educational Qualification: The candidate must 10+2 i.e. CBSE/ICSE/Intermediate Board Examination in one attempt. The last two years of such study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English from a recognized Board and must have obtained minimum 60% (for SC/ST/OBC candidates 50%) marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology taken together and atleast 50% (for SC/ST/OBC 40%) marks separately in each of the above subjects separately. The candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in 2014 are also eligible to apply for PMEE 2014. However, such candidates should be required to submit mark sheet of the qualifying examination before 10 June 2014.
