Delhi Government: Yuva Nirman Scheme under the The Delhi Higher Education Aid Trust

Scholarship / Reimbursement of Half the tuition fee to socially & economically backward students of professional courses (non-technical) in Universities in Delhi (Academic Year 2013-14)

Eligibility Criteria

Parental Income i.e. annual family income from all sources upto Rs. 2 lakh.
The students should have secured 60% marks with no back papers and 70% attendance in Academic Year 2013-14


The eligible students may apply to the Principal / Director of the concerned University / College / Institute in Delhi in prescribed format.
The concerned University / College / Institute in Delhi has to constitute a Committee of atleast 3 officers at their own level to scrutinize the application and to forward the same with their recommendation to the Director, Directorate of Higher Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, 5-Sham Nath Marg, Delhi - 110054 along with the following attested documents:
Last date for submission of application form is 15 December 2014
Income Certificate from the concerned Revenue Officer
Copy of the Marks Sheet of the Last Examination passed (Academic Year 2013-14)
Attendance Record (Academic Year 2013-14)
Fee Receipt (Academic Year 2013-14)

Delhi Government's Pre Matric Scholarship 2014 for SC Students

Scholarship scheme for SC students for the Financial Year 2014-15


Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme Students belonging to Scheduled Castes studying in Classes iX and X (Centrally Sponsored Scheme-Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India)

Attention: Scheduled caste students of Class IX and X of all government School or Studying in Private School recognised by Govt. or Central / State Board of Secondary Education

Applications are iinvited from eligible students as per criteria given below for providing financial assistance to the students to pursue their studies.


Essential Conditions for Scholarship

  • Students should belog to the Schedule Caste of Delhi State
  • His / Her Parent / Guardian's Income should not exceed Rs. 2 Lakhs per annum.
  • He / She should not be getting any of other Centrally Funded Pre Matric Scholarship
  • The Scholarship will be given to the students of classes IX and X who are studying in Government School or in a Private School recognised by Government or Central / State Board of Secondary Education
  • FAILED STUDENTS OF CLASS 9TH AND 10TH ARE STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED.
  • No percentage of marks required.
  • Self declaration of family income in the prescribed format is required.
  • Self attested copy of caste certificate issued by the competent authority should be attached with application. Domicile Certificate of Delhi if the caste certificate is not issued by the competent authority of Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
  • A student is allowed to avail the scholarship who should not be getting any other centrally funded Pre-Matric Scholarship. But students availaing Pre-Matric scholarship of Delhi Govt. avail this scholarship over and above the Delhi Govt's pre-matric Scholarship Schemes.
  • Aadhar seeded Bank Account should be in the name of the student.
  • An income declaration of the Self-Employed parents / guardians, stating definite income from all sources by way of self declaration if prescribed format. Employed parents / guardians are required to obtain income certification from their employer and for any additional income from other sources they would finish declaration.

AICTE Special Scholarship Scheme (SSS) 2014-15 for J&K Students

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) invites applications from students of Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) State for the award of Special Scholarship Scheme (SSS) for academic year 2014-15.

Who can avail AICTE-SSS 2014-15?

Students of J&K who fulfills following eligibility criteria (subject to verification at AICTE facilitation center) are eligible to apply and get befit of AICTE’s SSS Scheme:

  • Domicile of Jammu & Kashmir State
  • Passed Class 12th Examination from State Board of Jammu and Kashmir or CBSE School located in J&K Region (except NIOS).
  • The income of parents / guardians should not exceed to more than Rs. 6 lakhs in preceding year i.e. 2013-14
